Ch. 7

As Emma and Regina where eating, Stef and Lena were fighting, as usual.

Stef glared at Lena. "We have to adopt her! She needs a good home and there's no one better than us!" She yelled.

Lena sighed. "I know that! She's cut! A bunch of times! But we can't right now!"

"Why not?"

"Because she was in juvie. We need to get that settled before we file for adoption."

Stef nodded. "Right. But still. We are going to tell her once she gets home."

"Lets not get her hopes up. When the time comes then we will tell her."

"Okay." Stef kissed Lena and walked away.

Lena sighed and got her phone.
'Hey, princess. How's Regina's?' She texted Emma.

Emma looked at her phone and smiled. 'It's going well. Turns out that she really does like me. That guy she was talking about, she was just using his name for a code. She was really talking about me!' She replied.

Lena smiled. 'That's great. Call if you need anything.' She texted back.

The blonde smiled and finished eating. She put her plate in the sink.

Regina stood. "So... Em... I was thinking... That maybe... We could go out on a date?" She asked. 

The sad girl nodded. "I'll think about it, Gina. I got a lot on my plate. I can't really get in a relationship. Not right now at least."

The brunette nodded. "I understand. Think. You have all the time you need." She smiled and walked into the living room. "Wanna build a fort?"

Emma giggled. "Sure." She smiled. She grabbed some blankets. "I never really had any friends to have fun with. My foster siblings always hated me. They never let me have any friends or fun."

Regina sighed. "That's awful. If I was you, I would beat them up."

"I did once. That's why I was in juvie. I beat my foster siblings up and my foster parents. I even broke walls and stole. They really deserved it."

Regina smirked. "Well I do like bad girls. But you are right. They deserved it. They shouldn't make fun of you or anyone. That's just awful and horrible."

Emma nodded and didn't say a word. She started to build the fort with the brunette. She was having fun for once.

There was a bunch of room in the fort. Pillows and blankets, making it all cozy and comfy. She smiled and sat down. Regina sat besides the blonde, pretty close. The brunette put on some music and locked eyes with the blonde. She leaned in and kissed Emma softly. Emma smiled and kissed back. It was her first kiss with a girl and she felt sparks. It was amazing.
