"Come on! Let's go do something!" I whine as I tug on Liam's shirt. We've just woken up and I don't want to stay cooped up in a hotel room all day. Liam, of course, is apprehensive because he's afraid I'd get hurt doing anything.
"I don't know babe..." He begins apprehensively.
"Pleaseeeee! It's not everyday where we're in a foreign country together! I promise I'll take it easy I just need to get out of this hotel room!" I beg, giving him a pouty lip and big puppy dog eyes.
"Oh how can I say no to you?" He groans in defeat. I squeal and quickly peck him on the cheek.
It's a particularly windy yet sunny day in Glasgow as we walk through downtown. It's pretty busy so it makes it difficult to maneuver my crutches through the crowds of people. Liam is constantly watching me with hesitation, ready to catch me at a moments notice.
"Babe I'm fine. Lighten up." I remark as we continue to walk. Pretty soon people are starting to recognize Liam and begin to follow and take pictures of us. Liam doesn't have security with him so we might have to fend for ourselves if things get out of hand.
"Oh my God, its Liam Payne! Hi can we get a picture?!" A couple of teenage girls squeal. He looks over to me and I nod to him, why is he asking for my approval his fans deserve a picture. They quickly take a picture and pretty soon the crowd around us begins growing, Liam is becoming farther and farther away and I'm soon stranded alone with a sea of fans surrounding me. More and more girls are asking Liam for pictures and autographs and he has no choice but to comply with the growing demand.
People soon begin to push and shove and even though I politely ask them to stop they are too engulfed in the presence of a celebrity to care. My slightly shorter stature makes it hard to see through the crowd to find Liam and I can tell he was trying to look for me too. Out of nowhere, I'm struck by an older man holding a camera, one of my crutches is knocked from under me and I helplessly stumble to the floor, landing on my bum.
"WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU PRICK! MY GIRLFRIEND HAS A BROKEN LEG!" I can hear Liam scream. The entire crowd goes silent as he pushes through to get to me. He immediately tries to help me up and a few of the girls around me also help. I retrieve my lost crutch as I try to keep my face down in embarrassment. Everyone is looking but the man who pushed me still continues to snap pictures. "Seriously? You've got your damn pictures, now get out of my way!" Liam bellows to the man, who momentarily stops to let us through. A pair of local cops arrive and address the situation, one of them staying with us and the other shooing the crowd away
"We're sorry." one of young girls says quietly as the crowd parts to let us through. The cop quickly hails us a cab, we thank him, climb in and drive away. Liam quickly instructs the driver the name of our hotel and he nods.
"Are you okay?" Liam asks me worriedly. "Damn, I knew we shouldn't have gone out today..."
"It's okay. It was just a little accident, I'm fine." I try to assure him that everything's okay when in reality I'm also upset at what just happened. Today was supposed to be a lovely day for Liam and I to spend together but in the end it turned into a chaotic frenzy.
"You don't have to put on a brave face for me." he says quietly as he places a chaste kiss on my cheek.
We return back to the hotel in silence. I place my purse on the table and go over to the bed. I'm exhausted from today's events so I quickly pop in my medication and lay down. Liam stands at the side of the bed, his face towering over me.
"You go take a nap, I have to go take care of some things." he says quietly.
"What things? Where are you going?" I question sadly. I want him to cuddle with me.
