As I walk back to my dorm, an unsettling awareness crawls over me; the undeniable feeling that I'm being watched. Not to sound crazy, but I haven't been able to shake off this feeling since the school year began. In class, in the halls, even in the library, I always feel as though someone is watching me; no matter how much looking around I do, I can never catch anything out of the ordinary.
I never tend to walk by myself after dinner but I wasn't feeling well and decided to head back to the common room whilst everyone finished dinner. That same eerie feeling grows as I walk faster and I swear I can hear footsteps right behind me but when I turn around there's no one there.
"Hey Y/n! What's up... wait are you okay?" I flinch back to reality by Fred Weasley greeting me with a hand on my shoulder and a concerned look on his face. "Hi, yes sorry, I'm not feeling well. I was just heading back to the common room." I reply back. My anxiety must be clear because he puts his other hand on my other shoulder and gets close to my face.
"You look very pale. I'll take you to Madam Pomphrey instead. Don't want you to get too sick on me." Fred smiles down at me and puts his arm around my shoulder leading me to the Infirmary wing. Though Fred is here, my anxiety becomes worse as I feel someone not only staring at me, but something more vindictive in the air.

Two days after Fred takes me to the infirmary wing I walk into the common room, seeing him with a broken hand and a black eye. "Merlin, Fred what happened to you?!" I run up to him, clutching his uninjured hand.
"Lorenzo Berkshire happened. That foul git fought me during a friendly quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Broke my bloody hand all because I hit a bludger at him." Fred rolls his eyes as he fiddles with the rings on my hand.
"Bloody hell, Fred. What did Madam Hooch say? Surely he will be punished?" I question as I crouch so he doesn't have to look up at me. "Nothing. You know how she favors those Slytherins. He walked away with just a slap on the wrist and a black eye."
Of course he got no consequences. That privileged git always got on my nerves with his pure blood supremacy and his fuck ass friends. Whole lot of them.

I sit next to George as he piles food onto his plate as if he hasn't eaten in 20 years. Fred and Ron are talking to Harry about who knows what, whilst Hermione and Ginny sit in front of me gossiping about all the boys in our house.
I can't seem to focus on anything. I have the eerie feeling all over again but I can't bare myself to look up to see if I catch anyone.
"Y/n what do you think?" Fred calls for me. "What? I'm sorry I was lost in thought."
"Should I put a puking pasty in Berkshire's dessert plate when he's not looking? The bloke deserves it."
I think about it. On one hand it would be hilarious to see him get what he deserves, on the other hand it would just lead to him and his band of deatheater friends to yell at us and call us blood traitors as they always do. Well now that I think of it, Lorenzo has never said that to me, and is never there when Draco and them are harassing me.
I look up to the Slytherin table and look for him. Once I do I can't help but freeze as I catch him already staring at me; his black eye is dark already but that's the only scratch I see on his obnoxiously perfect face.
