zoe squealed in excitement. "yay!" she gave me a small tight hug. "what do you want to call it?" alfie asks. "maybe just my name?" i laugh. "you need something unique!" zoe yells. "what about elley smells" joe teases. i roll my eyes. "shut up thatcherjoe" i reply emphasising the 'thatcher'. "piss off! my thatcher days are behind me" joe jokes. "stop flirting you two we need to pick a youtube name for elley" alfie laughs. "shut up!" joe shouts.

well this was going great.

"what about elley beauty or elley fashion?" zoe suggests. "or elley love or elley and your middle name?" alfie suggests. "ive never heard my name so many times" i laugh. "i can't think!" zoe puts her head in her hands. "elley's life?" joe suggests. zoe lifts her head up. i snap my fingers. "that's it!" i smile at joe. "i love it" zoe smiles. "maybe i'm not so bad at coming up with names" joe smirks. "yeah, thank you joseph" i say.

alfie types in the name and gives me the laptop so i can't type in a password and my email. i give it him back and he clicks 'done'. "there!" he smiles.

"right we have to make your first video!" zoe says enthusiastically. "what? now?" i reply. "yeah! duh" zoe says and pulls on alfies hand. she leads us to her bedroom and joe follows.

her bedroom was just like in hers and alfies videos, i never thought in a million years i would see it in real life. she sets up her camera and tells me to sit on her bed. i fix my hair and look into the camera lens while she focuses it. zoe is stood where the camera is, alfie is sat on a chair in the corner of the room and joe is sat on the floor next to where zoe is stood. "what do i say?" i ask feeling nervous. "just introduce yourself and say what you're going to do on your channel" she smiles. i nod in agreement. "this is giving me déjà vu of when joe made his introduction video!" zoe says. "yeah you made me say weird random stuff" joe jokes. "no i told you the same as i told elley, you made up the weird random stuff!" zoe laughs.

this continues into about a 3 minute argument. "guys!" alfie laughs. they both look over to him. "c'mon!" he yells. "sorry elley!" zoe says. "sorry" joe replies. "no problem" i say while adjusting my position on the bed. "lets start!" zoe squeals and clicks record on the camera.

a wave of anxiety rushes through me. i take a deep breath. i can do this. i look over to joe. he gives me a smile what instantly makes me feel better. "should i start?" i ask. "go for it!" alfie says.

"hi everyone!" i smile. "so this is my first ever video and its just a little introduction to my channel" i stop. joe puts his head into the camera view. zoe walks around and puts her head in too. alfie walks over an sits beside me on the bed. "these are my.." do i call them friends? shit. "friends" alfie smiles. "friends" i laugh. joe pulls a weird face to the camera and zoe smiles. "they helped me start my channel so thank them!" i continue. they all go back to their normal places. "on my channel.." i start. "wait ive said channel too many times" i laugh in embarrassment. "no! you're doing so good" zoe replies. "keep going" alfie says. "so on here i'm going to be making beauty, fashion, lifestyle videos, any thing really!" i say while pointing to each of my fingers. "so i hope you enjoyed this short video!" i say. "wait..tell them 5 facts about you" zoe smiles. "right okay" i agree. "okay so here's 5 facts about me so you can get to know me better". "my name is elley.. obviously!" i laugh. "i'm 18 years old! 19 in 2 months". "i come from south london". i pause and try to think of another fact. "i really love youtube and have always been too scared to make my own video!" i say. "and...i'm obsessed with peanut butter" i laugh. they all laugh too. "so i hope enjoyed this short introduction video, i'll see you guys this time next week.. i guess" i stutter. "bye!" i smile. joe, zoe and alfie all run up to me again and practically jump on me. "BYEEE" they all yell in unison. we all end up in a fit of laughter then zoe turns off the camera. "that was so good!" zoe says. "i literally said the word so like 50 times" i laugh.
