it all started with a hello // joe sugg fanfic

chapter one // the competition

i had just finished dinner and i went up into my room to watch youtube, it was my favourite thing to do. i could spend hours sitting there with my ipad in my hands watching my favourite youtubers, alfie deyes, zoe sugg, the whole british crew really. it had been a couple of hours and i finally decided to put my ipad down for some sleep, when my head hit the pillow my ipad flashed, i got an email. i usually wouldn't check it but it would bug me all night if i didn't. i unlocked my ipad and opened it. *enter a competition to meet 9 youtubers! ends this coming sunday* WHAT. i clicked the link and sure enough the youtubers were alfie deyes, joe sugg, zoe sugg, tanya burr, jim chapman, marcus butler, niomi smart, louise pentland and caspar lee. i entered my details and and answered some questions about them, they was really easy because ive been watching them all for so long. i clicked 'enter' and it was sent, if i won they would tell me in a couple of days, i doubt i would win but it's worth a try. i again locked my ipad and rested my head on my pillow and drifted to sleep.

i woke up to the sound of birds outside my window, it was the summer holidays so i didn't have college obviously. i guess i should introduce myself anyway.

i'm elley, i'm 18 years old and i'm from south london. i have a mum, dad and a brother who is 13. we live in an average sized house close to a shopping centre. i spend my days doing college work, going out with my friends and watching youtube. a pretty boring, average life i guess.

today was saturday. my two best friends, who are twins, are on holiday so i have no one to hang out with. i decide to make the most of my day and go out. if i didn't, i would get attached to youtube and lie in bed all day.

i get up and wash my face with my clean and clear face wash. i brush my teeth and go and get some breakfast. once i'm done i go upstairs and put on some high waisted shorts, a white crop top and some white high top converse. i do my make up and curl my hair. i'm ready.

i go downstairs and tell my mum i'm going out then i leave. i get in my car. i don't really know where to go, i just want to get outside. i only passed my driving test a few weeks ago after failing 3 times. this was mainly due to my clumsiness, ive always been clumsy since i was a little kid. i start up the car. where to go, where to go. i think im going to go to the shopping centre as i need some new foundation anyway.

it only takes me 5 minutes to get there as i live so close, i could walk it really but i'm too lazy.

i park my car and get out. who knows how long i'll spend here. i decide to go to superdrug first so i can get foundation. i pick up my usual; rimmel match perfection in the shade 'ivory' because i'm very pale. i'm hoping to get a tan this summer though. i also pick up the zoella lets spritz body spray as i love zoe and i've heard that it's good. i pay and leave. next i go to starbucks as i've not been for a while. i get a caramel cremé frappé and a chocolate chip cookie. i decide to take out and consume them on the way to the car as starbucks looks very busy today.

i get to my car and drive home. when i get home it's 4pm so i make myself some dinner and eat. by 8pm i've showered, i'm in my pjs and in bed. i reach for my ipad and watch youtube and with that i drift off to sleep.

hi, i hope you enjoyed chapter one, this chapter was very boring and pretty irrelevant but i promise it will get a lot better.
