chapter two // i'm meeting them

today was sunday. the announcement of the competition. to be honest i'm not going to bother checking because i know i won't win. it was also sugg sunday which made the day even better.

i get out of bed and take a shower. once i'm out i blow dry my hair. straighten it and do my make up. i get dressed in a lace white dress and some brown sandals. today was the day my friends amy and emma were coming home from their holiday so my mum agreed to pick them and their family up from the airport as her parents and mine were such good friends.

"elley are you ready! we have to leave soon" my mum called from downstairs.
"yep i'll be down in a minute!" i replied as i grabbed my brown shoulder bag and my phone. i rushed down stairs and got in the car with my mum. we headed for gatwick airport.

it took 45 minutes to get there but i don't mind, i like long car journeys.
when we arrived we got out the car and went inside terminal 2 which is where they were. it took us a while but we eventually found them. "elley over here!!" a familiar voice shouted. "amy, emma oh my god hi!!" i said as i hugged them both. "how was your holiday?" i asked. "it was great thanks" emma replied. and with that we headed back to the car. me talking to the twins and my mum talking to their parents. the drive home was a lot more fun with them.

when we got back to my house after dropping them off. i grabbed my bag and headed back up to my room. i unlocked my ipad and checked my emails as i usually would. there it was. an email from the competition entry. i quickly tapped it.

hi elley!

we are happy to announce that you will be meeting all 9 youtubers next sunday at the great hall in central london! you can bring two friends. the time is 11am. if you are unable to attend please reply to this email, if not, enjoy. they can't wait to meet you!

oh my god. i'm actually meeting them. i need to tell emma and amy. i picked up my phone and dialled their house phone...

amy picked up. "hi!" she said. "hi so you'll never guess what.... we're meeting our favs!!!!!" i said very enthusiastically. "omg what you mean like zoe and joe?" she replied sounding shocked. "yes and the rest!" i yelled. "how?!" she asked. "so i entered a competition a couple of days ago to meet them and i won, do you want to come with me?? you and emma?!!!" i replied. "oh my god of course!" she squealed. "great!! i'll pick you up on sunday at 10am" i said. "okay!!" she replied. we said our goodbyes and hung up.

not only was i meeting my favourite youtubers who inspire me the most and make me happy. i was meeting joe sugg. aka the hottest boy in youtube history. i was excited. i just hope i don't say something stupid.
