chapter fourteen // joe's birthday

today was the day.

joe's birthday and his party.

when i wake up i tweet him straight away.

"happy birthday joe! have a good day :) can't wait to see you later! xx @Joe_Sugg"

the party was at 8pm and it was currently 8am so i had plenty of time to get ready.

i decide to book in a hair and make up appointment as i want to look nice!

after that, i take a shower and dry my hair. i get dressed into a plain white shirt, a red jumper and leggings. then i put on minimal make up and my white converse. i grab my things and head to the shopping centre in town. i start my car and drive there.

once i'm there, i get out and go into topshop. hopefully they have a dress. why do i have to leave everything till the last minute.

i see a tight black dress which stops above the knee. i find my size and buy it. this will do. on my way back to the car i go and get breakfast from mcdonalds because why not.

i then drive back home. once i'm home check twitter. joe had replied.

he was so sweet. i tap the favourite button and turn off my phone.

the day goes back quickly until it's time for my hair and make up appointment.

1pm. i grab my things and head out to my car. i drive to the salon.

"hello, how can i help you?" a tall women with pale skin and black hair asks.

"urm.. hey, i booked an appointment this morning" i reply shyly.

"what's the name?" she asks.

"elley... elley freeman" i say back.

"right okay, take a seat in the chair, lisa will be over in a few minutes.

i sit in the chair as she said and wait for the lisa girl.

"hey!" a short blonde girl says.

"hi! you must be lisa?" i ask.

"yep that's me! what can i do for you today?" she smiles.

"could you give me some warm highlights and maybe curl my hair?" i ask.

"of course!" she replies.

the procedure takes about 2 hours but it's finally done and i'm happy with the look.

"did you come here for your make up too?" lisa asks.

"yes i did!" i reply.

"okay follow me!"

i follow her into another room and she sits me in another chair.

"right what look do you want?"

"maybe a dramatic gold eye look?" i say.

"coming right up!" she proclaims.

it takes about 40 minutes and then she's done.

"what do you think?" she asks holding up the mirror.

"i love it! thank you!" i smile.

i pay and then get into my car to drive home.

just before i start my car i get a call from caspar.

elley: hello?

caspar: hey elley! are you busy?

elley: i'm just about to drive home, why?
