chapter six // shopping trip

i wake up to the sound of birds singing outside. just kidding, i wake up to the sound of amy and emma screaming hysterically that there's a wasp in my room. i get up, open my window to let the wasp out and go downstairs to make breakfast for us all.

"so today i was thinking we should go shopping for tomorrow..." i said while eating my cereal. amy swallowed the cereal in her mouth, "yes!" she said. emma also agreed. we finished our breakfast and went up to my room.

i got dressed in light blue dress with a lace trim and white flats. i put on my usual make up with a nude lip and i put my hair in a fishtail braid. i grabbed my white handbag and we were ready to go. we got into my car and headed for the shopping centre. i parked my car on the car park and we got out.

"where should we go first?" i ask. "topshop!" emma proclaimed. amy agreed so we headed there first. we looked around the shop. i didn't like anything because i was so fussy but amy picked up a black cocktail dress. "do you guys like this?" she asked while holding it up again her. "yes!" emma says. "it looks really nice!" i add. she goes into the changing rooms and within about 8 minutes she's back out. "i'm buying it!" she squeals clutching the dress.

after she buys it we go into new look. my favourite shop. i look around for about 2 minutes and instantly see a dress i like. it was a short, white, lace dress with a detailed but revealing back. it was perfect. i headed to the changing rooms to try it on. it fitted well so i showed emma and amy. they loved it so i bought it.

after that, we decided to get some food so we went to mcdonalds. i ordered a cheese burger, fries and a coke. amy ordered a plain burger with fries and a diet coke. emma ordered the same. we ate our mcdonalds while talking and eventually the topic of our conversation drifted to the party.

"i can't wait to meet dan!" emma squealed. "well i can't wait to meet phil!" amy replied. "you two are obsessed" i laughed. "nope, just dedicated" amy replies taking a bite into her burger. i laugh.

after we're done we leave and start walking to river island as emma suggested so we could find her a dress. "guys! what about this?" she smiles holding up a pink dress with a white collar. "perfect" i say. amy nods in agreement. she doesn't try it on, just buys it straight off the bat as she's too excited.

we then head back to my car as we've all bought our dresses. i was debating whether or not to buy shoes but that would be stupid as i have so many pairs.

we drive home while getting even more excited. which made us really hyper. emma, amy and i aren't a good mix with being hyper. if you think that sounds bad then you should see us when we're drunk.

ive actually only been properly drunk once and that was emma and amy's 18th birthday party. i would say it was a good night but i can't remember it.

we went back to my house so amy and emma could get their things. after that i dropped them off at home. "see you tomorrow!!!!" i squeal. "byeeeee" amy replies. "25 more hours!!" emma screams and she's at her door. we all laugh and i drive home.

when i'm home i hang up my dress and do all that night time routine stuff you see on youtube then i get into bed. i watch some more youtube videos then drift off to sleep at about 9pm. very early for me but i need my sleep for tomorrow!
