Epilogue

It's been almost a year since It happened.

Lisa and Trisha were down there far longer than I was. I was only there for about a week or so, on sleeping drugs most of that time. While, Lisa was down there for nearly a year and Trisha was there for 5 months.
Lisa and Shane were a lovely couple for a few weeks then, she woke up in a locked room and nothing was ever the same. Trisha became one of Shane's best friends then, he captured her.

Shane forced them both to put on a smile and work at his office building during the day, during the night they were tortured.

They both surprised that I escaped since they had been trying for so long. Apparently something malfunctioned in my injected sleeping drug. I woke up much earlier than Shane had anticipated.
Now we are all free.

Shane is locked up and put away.

No police had been looking for Lisa or Trisha because Shane had their phones and forced them to call their parents and friends to tell them that they were fine.

My parents came to visit as soon as they heard of the crime, as well as Lisa's and Trisha's.

Now everything is actually fine. All three of us are living together in a nice house just outside of California. Trevor and Trisha recently started dating after I introduced them. I don't really want to date someone for a long time.

I got a new job. I now work at a different office building, far from Shane's with a married, female boss.

Everything is good now. Of course the memories will haunt me, but I can't finally relax.

One time I decided to drive past Shane house, just one last time. It remains in its same castle state, but the vines have climbed up the brick, nearly taking over the entire house. There are tattered remains of Do Not Cross police tape in the yard from the investigation. The whole place seems ghostly lonely.

This book is finally finished!
I honestly think it's trash and want to delete it, but it's a lot more successful than I had anticipated OVER 8K READS!!
My writing sucked at the beginning and it still sucks now haha.

I lost all motivation for this book not long after I started writing it so that's why it's taken me nearly a YEAR to finish it.
