Chapter 1

Jenna's POV

Today is the day that I go in for my job interview at a local office building. I am super nervous since the only job interviews that I have previously been through have been ones for places such as McDonalds or something like that. But, this is a real career. I could end up spending the rest of my life working here. I just have to pass the interview.

The reason I need a new, professional job is because I moved out of my parents house and moved all the way across the country to California. That's what I wanted to do, since I was little, for my 22nd birthday. Now I'm stuck here all alone with no support except daily phone calls from my parents. I decided to live in a decent apartment near the office building. It is not cheap to live in CA so therefore I HAD to get a job and quick.

I get in my car and drive to the office building. I could walk but I didn't want anything to happen to my outfit or hair. I decided to wear a plain black dress and black high heels, with my brunette that is naturally slightly red hair straightened down. It is naturally strait but I wanted it to be perfect so that I could impress my boss.

If only I knew how much I would really impress him...
