It was officially the day of the Tween Choice Awards.
Everyone was dressed up and ready for the big event.
Dani was dressed in a sparkly coral pink dress and matched it with some gold heels.
As they arrived to the theater, the five teens stepped out of the vehicle one by one, the crowd getting louder as each teen stepped out.
The last one to exit was Dani; Kendall waited, holding his hand out as she stepped onto the ground.
This was their first event together after their relationship was announced, and she was actually happy now that the secret was out and she was able to hold his hand in public without having to worry about the paparazzi or a fan catching a photo of them.
The group smiled as they waved at the fans, stopping every once in a while to sign some autographs.
After waving goodbye to the fans, they walked toward the section where people waited with their big cameras, hoping to get pictures of the stars on the purple carpet.
Dani parted with the four boys as she walked the carpet by herself.
The purple carpet shimmered in the late-day sun, flashes of cameras bouncing across dresses and suits, fans waving signs and screaming names.
Dani moved through it all like she still couldn't believe she was really here.
"Dani! Dani over here!"
"Right in front of you!"
As she made it to the end of the carpet, she spotted actress Ryan Newman talking with the boys before they quickly raced off.
"Danielle Jennings is on the carpet, y'all." Ryan Newman grinned, standing in her blue dress, mic in hand. "You look incredible—come over here!"
Dani laughed as she stepped forward, her heart pounding from the noise and the nerves.
"Hi! You look amazing too."
"First of all—five nominations. Including Awesomest Artist, the biggest award of the night. Be honest—what is even happening in your brain right now?"
"Uh, a lot of static and maybe mild panic," Dani joked. "But in a good way. Like, happy panic."
Ryan laughed. "The best kind. But honestly, you've been working at this a long time. People may think you're an overnight success—but they'd be wrong, right?"
Dani nodded with a grin.
"Totally. I started out at Roque Records as an intern and was promoted to music assistant. I was helping in sessions, learning the board, organizing demos, and writing songs—honestly doing anything I could to just be in the room. I've been playing instruments since I could walk, basically. Music's always been it for me."
