The Call

I was still in the middle of the kitchen when I got the call. A couple of hours had passed and I hadn’t moved a foot. I managed to reach my phone from the counter and answer it.

“Hello?” I said into the phone. My voice was hoarse from my crying.

“Olivia?” I heard Vicki say from the other end.

“Yeah, what’s up?”

“Olivia.” She said again. I could hear the strain in her voice this time. She sounded emotionless.

“Vicki, what’s wrong?” I asked.

There was a long pause before I heard her sobbing, “He’s- he died. He’s dead, Olivia.”

I felt my entire body go numb. “Who died?” I asked.

Vicki kept crying into the phone. “Ken. Kendall died, Olivia.”

I couldn’t breathe. I felt my chest tighten and my heart speed up. She couldn’t be serious, he was just here. I just talked to him.

I closed my eyes and started crying. I told him to get out of my life. I told him to leave.

“How?” I asked.

“The police said he was drunk. He was driving to Michigan to see Morgan, and- he was hit by a bus, Olivia! He was drunk and he was hit by a bus!” She was becoming hysterical.

This was my fault. Kendall only drank when he was upset. If it wasn’t for me- he would have been sober. He could still be alive.

“I have to go.” I said and hung up the phone.

I killed the boy I loved.

I didn’t have the strength to cry anymore. I have no clue how I managed to make it to my bed, but I crawled inside and didn’t come out for days.

***A/N- I couldn't make this longer than it is! I'm so upset that I did this, so I didn't want to drag this on. I'm sorry to anyone who liked Kendall!!

But, I still want to know what you think- even if it is mean! So lemme have it! haha. And I promise- there will be someone coming up in a few chapters that will be 26495298832 times better than Kendall!!!haha

Well, I am going to take a writing break for the next couple of days because I am super busy with stuff and all my friends are coming back from vacations- so it's time to partay! hahaa

But I WILL be back super soooooon!
