FRONTIER IS MINE.

I am so happy. I've been waiting to get Frontier for a LONG time. Looking at the tracklist is mindblowing, to think that all of these songs that stand out to me, many of which I've loved for what seems like forever, are suddenly mine now. When I scroll through the album, the majority of songs there are some of my favorite ones on Monstercat. Frontier is really an amazing album. Today is the 1st anniversary of its release, and a year ago today I believe I was on a roadtrip with my mom's family. I still remember sitting on an air mattress on that trip one night and listening to some Monstercat, including the beginning of the Embrace Album Mix. But back then I wasn't involved with the label yet, although I remember seeing the ads for Frontier. It was between Frontier and Endeavour that I grew into a full-fledged Monstercat fan. This is the sixth Monstercat album I have bought, and I also have two singles, Far Away and Ghost Town. I got 020 the day it released, and I got 007, 015, 017, and 019 in a Black Friday sale on Bandcamp last year. I had told my mom and dad about it and they said I could pick out which ones I wanted. It was harder than I thought, but there was no question about the fact that I was getting 007 and 019. I still thought Solace was the best Monstercat album ever, and I'd loved Endeavour. I eventually decided on Outlook since it had a lot of my favorites too. But the problem was, Ascension or Frontier. My mom had given me a time to pick them out by, and I didn't have much longer. So I went to iTunes and listened to about five seconds of each, quickly choosing yes or no. They came up SO close. It was too close to really be able to decide. But I decided 017 and I felt great about it. I'm still glad I chose 017. But since then I've still been wanting to get 018. I ran into so many reasons I should get it. For a little bit I held back because of a couple songs on it that I thought I should leave untouched because of the memories I have with them. But that changed. I planned to get 018 on its 1st anniversary. So here I am on its 1st anniversary, and I have it in my hands. I'm a very happy Monstercat fan.

Beyond entitlement lies possibility.
