"It was nice seeing you again Ali." Harry said giving me hug.

I can't stay here. Being around all of Louis' family after finding out what really happened at the wedding makes me uncomfortable. Of course I know Louis wants me to be around during this hard time but I can't.

We went to the hotel for about an hour before I found a flight out to London.

"You too Haz." I picked up the one suitcase I brought. "I'll have my things in Florida shipped back." I told them all. I said my goodbyes to all of them except Louis.

"I'm sorry about your grandfather." I whispered to Louis when I hugged him. It felt nice to hug Louis... "He was a good man."

"Thank you." he reached his hand up and put it on the back of my head. "I'm so sorry you found out about the wedding thing like you did."

"I have to go." I pulled away from him.

"Your dad is going to kill us." Liam said.

"He doesn't have to know you were here. For all he knows, I took a taxi here and when you guys woke up from a nap I was gone." I said telling them the story that we had rehearsed on the car ride here ot the airport.

"Have a good flight. Tell us when you land." Zayn said.

"Thanks you guys."

**ONE WEEK LATER**
Louis' POV

"Do you want another pancake Louis?" my mother asked me already placing another one down on my plate.

"Thanks mom." I said and she flashed me a little smile. Behind the smile hid a little sadness. Of course the sadness of my grandfather death hangs over us but we still try to get through the day.

It wouldn't be that bad if Ali would return my phone calls. I have left a dozen messages and phone calls but nothing in return. She could be dead for all I know. I should have told her the truth from the very beginning. Right after the wedding thing happened happened, Liam already had the car running for me with the other boys already inside. We drove away before anyone could stop me. Zayn handed me my phone. I didn't know why at first but when I looked at the screen he had Ali's contact all pulled up and ready to call. That's when I should have told her the truth. I should have called her right then and there. Told her that I loved her and all I need is her. But I chickened out and put it off. And I'm afraid it is too late now. I've scared her away and I can't get her back.

"Good Morning." My mother chirps to Lottie as she comes down the stairs. Lottie flashed her a smile as she pilled pancakes onto the plate in front of the seat next to mine. Lottie kissed me on the check as a 'good morning' then took a seat next to me. She sent a text massage then picked up her fork to eat.

"Did you sleep alright hun." Mother asked her.

"Yeah once got to sleep. I would have fallen asleep earlier if someone wouldn't have been on the phone all night." She said shooting me a mean glare.

"Sorry. Liam and Danielle got in a fight last night and he needed someone to talk to." I explained myself. Of course they worked out their issues before morning but he was upset about it last night so he called me to vent.

"I heard." She snapped then took a bite of pancakes. Her phone, which sat between us, buzzed and the screen lit up. Being the protective brother I am, I peeked a look at the screen. The name on the screen caused me and Lottie both to grab at the phone. But I beat her to it

"Give it back!!" She screamed at me

"Why is she texting you?!!" I screamed back. I held the phone up so she couldn't reach it.

"It is none of your business!" She lunged for the phone.

"Wow wow wow." My mom started in. "What is going on?!" She scared me more than anyone on this entire planet. Lottie too cause she froze also.

"Louis took my phone." Lottie shouted.

"SHE'S TEXTING ALI!" I screamed probably a little too loud.

"I'm allowed to text who ever I want to! It's my phone. Now give it back!' She lunged for the phone again

"Knock it off you two!" Mother yelled.

"Why are you texting her?! You know that I have been trying to call her ever since the funeral! Why wouldn't you tell me!?"   I yelled at Lott.

"It is my phone!"  She tried to grab it again. "And she obviously doesn't want to talk to you!" She screamed. Her words stung.

"Here." I said softly and handed her the phone.

"Lottie." Mom scolded her under her breath.

"You know what, I don't want to talk to her either.  So take your damn phone." She seemed scared to take the phone back. "Take it!" I yelled. She snatched it up and sat back down in her seat.

A wave of anger came and I pushed my breakfast plate off the table onto the floor where it shattered with crash.

"Louis William!" Mother shouted louder than ever.

"Fuck this." I muttered and grabbed the car keys on the counter.

"Louis do not walk out of that door! Get back here!" She screamed more.

"I'm not in high school anymore. You can't tell me what to do." I snarked as I slipped on a pair of shoes as quickly as possible.

"I am your mother! Get back here!" She yelled.

Before I slammed the door shut I heard Lottie say,

"I didn't mean it. It just slipped."
