KATE'S P.O.V

I opened my heavy eyes, looking at the hands around my stomach.

"You were having a nightmare.." Luke mumbled softly.
I laughed slightly.
"Yeah then it turned super weird."
"What happened?"
"Michael quit the band to become a pilot.."
Luke laughed huskily.
"Have you been sleeping too?" I asked.
"Mh.. You're like a hot water bottle."
"And you're like a pillow."

I sensed his lips curl into a smile.

He began playing with my hair.
"So soft.. What shampoo do you use?"
"L'oreal, what do you use?"
"Garnier."
"Ooo, rookie." I said, making him chuckle.

A silent ping sounded through me, making me jump.

"Did you hear.."

Then another.

The boys looked at me with concern.
"I didn't hear anything..." Calum replied.

I sat up quickly, pulling from Luke's grip before I was flung into the wall, my chest beginning to feel as if my heart was being torn from it.
The door to cockpit door slammed open, the waiters eyes showing only black.

I screamed in pain, veins in my jaw beginning to bulge, going grey.

I glanced over at the boys, their eyes wide as the plane began to glide down.

"Get.. Back.."

The waiter walked to me and smiled, running his fingers along the bulged veins in my jaw.
"Interesting last words, Kate Alton."

I slammed my eyes closed. I could escape this grip. I knew how...

Demons were repetitive, normally they would whisper something in your ear to signal fear. The trap this one fell straight into.

I let out a high pitched scream as his ear come close, making him jolt back and become off guard, making me fall to the floor.

I grasped my handgun, firing one to the heart before running into the cockpit. I didn't have anytime to waste anymore.

Quickly I grabbed the wheel and pulled back with my left hand, pressing controls with my right.

Now the whole left side of my face was an awful black bruise, it was like being electrocuted over and over, the pain didn't leave me.

I sat down as I got the plane into the right controls, swallowing the lump in my throat, how was I so blind to it. Now it made sense to why we had to help ourselves.

I heard Calum walk into the cockpit.
"Kate..."
"It's fine Calum.. I've got it.."
"Are you okay though..?"
"I'll be fine." I mumbled, trying to hide my face. My jaw was definitely fractured.

Calum took a seat next to me.
"Thank fuck you can fly.."
