Chloe's POV
"Lo, Lo wake uppp" my lil cousin, Mia was bouncing on my bed in order to wake me up.
"Its Sunday let me sleeeeep shhshhh shoo go away" I replied in a sleepy voice.
"But u promised Lo" she cried. That is how my Sunday starts with someone jumping on my bed and trying to wake me up so that I can take part in the weekly family day.
Okay so I have nothing against my family, I adore my family and I love spending time with them. The only problem is I DONT LIKE WAKING UP EARLY and that to on a Sunday."My name is Chloe not Lo and fine I am up" I knew it was a waste of time to tell her my real name because since the day she saw me, she called me Lo. And she wasn't ready to change that to Chloe.
"Yeppiii , I will tell the others Lo is coming downnn" she was very excited wasn't she. After she left, I sat down on my bed looking through my window.
I see him again.
The masked guy was sitting on the side walk yet again.
I don't know anything about him but I have seen his figure sitting here numerous of time.
WHAT DOES HE WANT?"Chloe maybe he lives around and is just randomly taking fresh air, but why the fuck does he have a mask on his face" I started talking to myself.
NOTE - I am not crazy or anything but I do like talking to myself.
"Blehh forget it "I tried to get it out of my head and made my way to the washroom to change.
As I went downstairs, I was sure that a group of kids will come in a row and hug me. After all I am their greatest cousin sister.
And I was correct, they came running and I nearly fell down.
They started asking me to take them to the park and obviously I couldn't say no because it became a custom since last 3 years that I would take these kids to the playground.Though it was Sunday and I had a lot of coursework but I couldn't protest or else my mom would have said "why didnt you finish them yesterday."
So after shoving pancakes into my mouth, the kids dragged me out.
As we were walking on the street I saw The Masked Man.Yes i have named him THE MASKED MAN.
He was sitting on the sidewalk wearing a black hoodie and his face wasn't visible.
At first I got the creeps.
But as I made my way further down the street. I came in line of vision with his face.
His face was covered with a black mask and the only things visible were his eyes.
HIS GREEN EYES.
ENCHANTING GREEN EYES.For a moment of time I was actually mesmerized by that intense green shade.
IS SUCH A SHADE EVEN NATURAL?He abruptly looked at me. His gaze so was intense that it was flaming through my soul and it gave me the chills, about which I wasn't sure whether they were good kind or bad.
He looked away after a few seconds, I am sure he didn't even see my face properly.
But I couldn't take my gaze away from him.
THOSE DEEP GREEN EYES.
