Chloe's POV.

What's the absolute toughest part when you are going somewhere? That is no doubt PACKING.

I am the worst at packing. I panic more than I pack. So for calming me down, I had Tori with me on Skype.

We were discussing what to take and what not to. According to her, we should only take whatever is necessary and as for me, we should take everything because maybe we will need it at some point of life.

"Should I keep the teal scarf?" Tori asked.

I guess she was inside her closet because I couldn't see her on the screen.

"Yes, I love that scarf, you should definitely keep it babes" I shouted.

"You don't have to yell Hun, I am right her" she said popping on the screen.

"Oh I thought you were in the closet" I said innocently.

"Dude it's already been like a year, man this year passed soo fast, can you believe it?? Just few hours and we will be in NYU. That's the bestest thing that has ever happened to me in my entire lifetime." Tori said excitedly.

"I fucking know right, and by the way bestest is not even a word Tori" I definitely had to agree because she was right.

"But it describes the situation very nicely so it's a word according to me." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah true that, but still it's not a word" she was surely getting annoyed.

"Oh come-on shut up and finalize your packing, I will see you soon babes" she replied dropping the call.

"K" I said as I shut my laptop screen.

After packing, I went downstairs where my mom was arguing with Lucas.

About what? Time to find out.

"Heyyy peoplee" I waved my hand to get the attention.

"Hey" both of them replied together.

"So what's the fuss about" I asked.

"Actually mom-" as Lucas opened his mouth, mom stared at him.

"Don't worry Lucas speak I will protect you from mom" I laughed.

"Mom is thinking about how are you gonna manage all alone" Lucas replied.

Ohhh so that's the arguing about.

"Mom, my beautiful mom" I said hugging my mom.

"I am gonna be fine ya know why because I will have a senior roommate, who will be responsible enough. Then I am going with Tori and you only say that Tori is more sensible than me, sooo don't worry okay maa" I finished my speech by the time I sat on the counter.

"Seee mom Chloe has grown up" Lucas said patting me on my head.

"I know but Chloe you don't get along with people and I know you are going with Tori but your classes will be different. How will you manage??" She really was concerned.

Wasn't she.

"But mom, we have gone through this topic a dozen times that I am not antisocial, I just don't like to open up to many people, I like my personal space" I cried.
