1.) What are the particular factors that make a good "persuasive" story?
Speaking as a reader who tries to delve into any kind of genre, I don't think I could specify these factors for such stories. Whatever that makes a work good enough for it to be persuasive to the readers, it will still have to depend on the writer's style in executing the story. Most often than not, each writer has his/her unique style, and that is yet another matter. You get the picture, don't you?
2.) For those interested in exploring subjects or themes that are not inclined to their own beliefs and perceptions, where should they start and what are the important things to consider when writing about a sensitive topic?
I believe the question already mentioned the answer as to where to start—to be INTERESTED. To be real curious. To learn to wonder and ask a wide range of questions, the "what ifs" included. And to never get tired. To be always passionate. Because passion is what will keep you going with the exploration. It is what makes you search for the answers and to come up with the most satisfactory explanations. When the time comes that you have to write about a sensitive topic, you must be brave enough to hold on to the words you will put on paper. You must remain sincere about it while also showing that you wrote it down, not because it is all about your personal beliefs and ideals, but because it is the whole truth. You are speaking not for yourself, but for those who are involved in the situation/s you wrote about, in the hopes that it could bring enlightenment to those who will read your work. However, you must also keep in mind that not everyone will agree with what you will convey through your stories. Some may react violently toward these. And you must be prepared in whichever way possible to face the reaction the people may give you.
3.) How does writing change the writer and how does reading change the reader?Reading and writing change us... Just as how life changes people who live it—especially, to the fullest.
