1.) Describe yourself as a writer.

Well, let's just say. I'm the kind of writer who eats a lot... A lot of tips and always hungry for more. I usually take notes when critics give me advices on how I should improve and surprisingly, I'm improving but not fast neither too slow. Just right...

I also like to write cliche stories because that was the first thing that ever brought me to 'writing world'. Particularly, romance and fantasy were the genres that I loved to write but then because I had joined in contests, I've learned to love other genres and make stories that I thought that I was never capable of writing of.

I'm very open for critics because I still have a lot of room for improving and my doors are wide open for suggestion and tips. Those are the things that molded me as a writer and how I also love to meet other people who have the same interest as mine!

2.) Using the sense of taste, give a piece of advice to the top 8.

Let me be specific...

My 'taste of advice' for a whole package of a story is this.

*Spice - This is where emotions dwell. What do you feel towards a story? Especially when you're sad, angry, frustrated, happy, curious, etc...? How far would the spicy taste go in yoyr taste buds? Write them! *breathes fire*

*Sweetness - This is the plot. If the sweet taste fades along the way, the excitement of your story will crumble down to pieces. You don't want that to happen, do you? So, make a plot that will travel into different stages of sweetness.

*Exposition - This where the flavor will start. As it touches your tongue, you'll raise your brow suddenly and ask yourself "Will this sweet taste last long?"

*Rising action- Here, is where you can say "Oh! The taste seems good and I like to discover how far would the sweet taste go."

*Climax - The sweetest! The flavor is bursting in your mouth and the sweet taste is spreading throughout your taste buds and it makes you jump up and down in excitement!

*Falling action - This is where the excitement ends... All you need to do is to add something a little sweet, a pinch of sugar maybe? To polish a nice falling action.

*Denouement or conclusion - Well, the taste is starting to fade but then, you're satisfied with it.

Sourness- This serves as the setting.

Sweet and sour are a great combination, right? Admit it!

Well, I have to ask some help from an author also. Her point of view on how to polish a good sour taste about settings will help you a lot!

Here it is. *These words are from her. Her name is YsaiCarinio and I won't dare delete a word from her tips because that would be super rude of me! :)*

Ex. Park - ano-ano bang nakikita mo sa park? Matao? Madamo? Maraming puno? May sirang bangko? Ilagay mo. In that way, naipakita mo na ang mundong nakikita mo.

TONE and MOOD - refers how the author feels towards the subject.

ATMOSPHERE and WEATHER - in tagalog, panahon. Ano bang panahon o oras ginanap ang isang eksena? Katirikan ba ng araw? May manaka-nakang pagkulog at pagkidlat ba?

And always remember, SHOW, don't TELL.

Ayan.

Blend the sour taste in sweetness! Blend it well like "Del Monte tomato sauce." XD

But since, it's a blind man's pov... You know what to do.

Saltiness- One word only "GRAMMAR". Do it well and maybe the salty taste will create a perfect blend with the other flavors.

So are you good to go? Write now!

Write like you know everything... Like you had experienced it. Write like everything depends on you.

PS. Don't let my face scrunch up when the entry comes out BITTER.
