(Lexi's Pov)
Its been two days since the beach and everything is just awkward. I do a quick catch up...
- Me and Luke are no longer on talking terms, it seems like we are just preparing ourselves for war
- Me and Calum aren't specifically dating but really close now and we could just talk for hours
-My parents are coming home for a week visit sometime this month
- And my brother, i don't even know what happened, one moment he's laying in bed pretty much all day, the next he's up arranging parties and actually socialising with people - It's freaking me out to be honest.
Anyway so right now I'm upstairs chilling with my one of my best friends, Sophie. We met on the first day of High School, both of us separated from our old school friends for some reason when we were put into our classes. After a few awkward conversations we just instantly got each other, it was like we'd known each other forever, as cheesy as that might sound. She is insanely caring and pretty with long blonde hair and chocolatey eyes, I never understood why someone like that wasn't in the "popular" crowd, because honestly we weren't. And because she gets me and knows that secrets are best kept secrets, I told her everything, from my crush on Luke to the snooty conversations with Summer in the car. She's even helping me come up with a master plan to make Luke jealous, she's just an amazing person any guy would never be good enough for her. But this was the thing she had a boyfriend, apparently they had been texting and seeing each other for 2 weeks, Sophie just didn't tell me who he was because she was scared seeing as they hadn't been dating that long. I guess I understood.
"So any ideas for operation JW?" I ask, JW basically stands for jealousy war and i sure as hell wasn't going to loose.
"Definitely, but there's one that stands out above the rest" Sophie tells me the plan and i couldn't fault it, but until we had worked out every possibility of a failure we decided to continue with flirting around Calum plan. Firstly, yes we are taking it that seriously, secondly, it wasn't like i was using Cal, I'm pretty sure he never thought anything i did like holding his hand was even remotely flirting and i only did it when Luke was around or looking at us. So I'm pretty sure i wasn't leading him on, at least i hope so.
After talking about the plan a little longer, we put on a random movie and basically sit chatting and messing around on our phones and thats when we hear the front door open and at least four people enter. Great, I kinda like this brother that wants people to hang out but I also miss the old one that just sleeps. Deciding we wanted drinks anyway, me and Sophie walked downstairs to see: My brother, Mikey, Ash, Calum, Luke and you guessed it Summer. I immediately turned smirking towards Sophie before i ran and jumped on Calum's back, laughing he lowers me back down and turns to give me a big hug holding me up in the air. I look past his shoulder i was resting my chin on, and look at Luke, he just seems so pissed off i had to stop myself laughing. I cheekily wink at him and hug everyone else besides him and Summer and go and get drinks for me and Soph.
After chatting with everyone for a while, Mikey suggests we watch a film agreeing, we all try to find space on the sofas for everyone. I sit next to Sophie and pat the seat for Cal to sit down next to me, ash perches next to Soph and the other four take the twin sofa. The film was actually pretty good so there weren't many distractions from anyone. The credits were rolling and everyone was discussing what to do next but we pretty much just started our own conversations. That's when Cal turned to me and gave me a huge, warm, bear hug and whispered something in my ear, it shocked me you could say the least, but at the same time took a huge weight off my shoulders.
"I know what your game is with Luke" he stated, "and if you need me to help make him jealous, well then I'm in" he chucked his under his breath and after pulling away he interlocked our fingers and smirked at me.
