(Lexi's PoV)
To say I was shocked when I saw the caller id was Luke would be an understatement and I was even more shocked when he asked me to come round to his house. But for him to come to me for a problem rather than his other friends, obviously suggested needed my help and so I agreed.
After the relatively short walk to his house, I knock at the door and wait for the usual Luke. But instead I got a puffy eyed and distressed face that immediately pulled me in for a hug. "thank god you came, i need your help. Please can we forget this feud and just be friends again, your the only one I can talk to, I need you"
Finally, the words I'd been waiting for years to hear, but I quickly have to push these happy feelings away, and instead focus on the matter at hand. "Of course we can Luke, but what's the problem, what's happened?"
After Luke explained all that had happened with Summer, I calmed him down making a hot chocolate adding some special marshmallows, yes it is almost summer but it's never to warm to have a coffee so why should hot coco be any different. After sitting and chatting like old times for a while, we discuss how to solve the problem with Summer. Eventually we decide to just tell the guys when we next see them, thinking that having four extra minds might help come up with better plans.
After a few films we get bored and decide on catching up with a game of 20 questions.
"Did you miss me during our war?" Luke asks jokingly
"Honestly, I did, I missed this, where we could just sit and talk for hours on end and I especially miss your hugs." I say turning and snuggling next to him on the sofa smiling up at him as he smiles down.
"My turn, umm, what do you think about me and Cal?" Luke laughs nervously before answering
"I'm gonna be a hundred percent honest, I don't like it, you and Cal aren't right for each other and I think you know that too. Like if you were meant for each other you should walk into a room and be able to chat forever and snuggle and just"
"Like we're doing right now?" I don't give him time to finish, turning my face to smile up at him.
"Well...y,yeah" Luke stutters all of a sudden nervous. We both look into each other's eyes before slowly leaning in. I was about to kiss him, oh my god, the boy I'd wanted to kiss for so long. Butterflies were erupting from my stomach and as my eyes fluttered shut my typical phone decides to ring. What is life? Reluctantly I pull away, giving an apologetic look towards the now heavily blushing Luke, to my surprise it was my brother."We need to talk, about everything. Just come home now." And then he hangs up. I decide the best thing to do is to go to him, plus it seemed like the moment had already passed between Luke and I. Never the less, I invited him round, knowing that the boys would probably still be at my house, so that everyone could hang out. I was worried about what my brother was going to say, it was most likely about the Calum situation, and even though we were never really a thing, I wanted to know what he had to say about me dating one of his friends before Luke and I developed anymore. And as I begin walking back to my house, I'm glad Luke agreed to follow as he loosely holds my hand, calming my nerves slightly.
