The Bad Duo

Chapter 8

Vanessa's POV

I was in Science class texting on my phone under the table not really paying attention to what Ms.Brown was saying . When the teacher called  on me "Vanessa what is the apparatus for the experiment...?" I stared at her with a blank expression and replied "I don't frigggin know" she said "Young lady do not speak to me like that" I said "I don't give a rats ass" her face turned beat red like a tomato and shouted "Go to the PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE NOW!!!".She wrote me a detention slip I took it and calmly, I got up and exited the classroom but before I did I said "Goodbye losers!".

I entered the detention room and saw about 3 kids and a very bored and tired looking teacher. I dropped the slip on the teachers desk and walked to the back of the class, and sat by the window seat .I took out iPod and plugged in my headphones I bobbed my head to the sound of the music. I felt as if someone was watching me I turned my head to the side and saw a very handsome looking boy but not as handsome as Jace with piercing blue eyes and jet black hair staring at me he smiled at me . I turned my attention back to my phone and continued listening to music .

Minutes passed by as I waited for the bell to ring. The guy was still staring at me but I ignored him, I started to feel tired so I put my head down on the desks and pulled one of my earphones out in case the bell ring so I can hear it. Suddenly I heard BANG! I jumped up and looked up to see what had made the sound it was the door being slammed by the one and only ..... JACE . He walked over to the desk next to me, I tried my best to not look at him and hoping he wouldn't notice me .

Jace's POV

I entered the detention and took a seat next to my friends josh and David . David told me "Hey there's the new girl" and pointed in the direction to the person sitting by the window with her head down . I quietly got up and walked over to where she sat I took the seat behind and tapped her shoulder she got up and said "What do u want Jace?" I said " How did u know it was me?" She turned around and said sarcastically "Cause I'm sidekick" I smirked and said "If you are then what am I thinking right now?" She thought a little and said "I don't know something perverted" Ilaughed and said "Oh babe is that what you think of me?" And put my hand on my chest feigning hurt.

Vanessa laughed softly and said "Yes and no". I frowned but quickly covered it up with a smirk and said "Whatever anyway so you wanna ditch with me ? Like go somewhere fun ?" She sighed and said " Yea sure but how are we getting out ?" I looked back at the teacher and said "Teachers sleeping....."

Vanessa's POV

He looked back at the teacher and said "Teachers sleeping........"I smirked and said " Well then what are we waiting for lets go!" He got up also and called two guys over, before I could leave the room he stopped me and said "These are my two friends Josh and David" he pointed to one of the guys that were staring at me his name was David and an another guy tall and built with dirty blond hair and grey greenish eyes whose name was Josh. Jace said something to them and then we walked out of the class and down the hallway . We walked to my car and I got in the passenger seat and Jace got in the drivers seat he sat there confused I faced him and threw the keys at him he caught them and looked at me still perplexed . I sighed and said "I'm lazzyyyyy!!! You drive" he shrugged and mumbled 'ok' and then started it up.

While driving I was looking out the window and didn't recognize where we were going . I said "Where are we going?" He said "It's a surprise!" I huffed and said "I hate surprises.... I'm bored!! Jaceee" he laughed and said "We are almost there" .

A little while after we arrived somewhere in the middle of the woods at a lake house. It was so pretty Jace parked and we exited the car . Jace grabbed my hand and sparks went up my arm but I ignored it and followed him we went to the lake and sat by the bench near it. Something came over me and I got off the bench and started stripping until I was only in my bra and underwear I saw Jace staring at me with wide eyes. I winked back at him and ran into the water.
