The Bad Duo

Chapter 10

Jace POV

Vanessa pulled away from the kiss and I rested my forehead against hers our breathing was shallow . I stared at her face and looked into  her chocolate brown eyes and said "I like you Vanessa" I have no idea why I said it.

Vanessa POV

"I like you Vanessa" Jace said I was shocked to say the least I stayed frozen to the spot . He looked at me worriedly and put his large soft hand on my cheek "Vanessa you okay" .

I nodded and said "Yea, yea lets go schools almost over" . We got out of the lake and headed towards the bench where our clothes were I grabbed my clothes and put them back on . We silently made our way towards my car .

The drive back home was very awkward between Jace and I I kept thinking is he telling the truth or is he just playing with my feelings. We arrived back at school and Jace got out the car without a word. I shook my head and drove off towards home.

Jace POV

I got out of  Vanessa's car and walked away without a word how could she just ignore what I said is she playing with my emotions, I built up a lot of courage to say that to her i thought . I got in my car and sped off towards home furious with what happened.

Beep beep

My phone went off signaling I had a text . Lazily I got off my bed and checked my cell I saw a message from josh . (J-Josh)

J:Hey party at my house ! B there at 8!

Me:kool see u there bro!

Vanessa's POV

I arrived home and face planted onto my bed what a long day I thought. I striped out of my clothes and took a shower the warm water hit my body and I instantly felt relaxed . After I got dressed in a baggy tee shirt and short shorts I jumped on my bed and opened my laptop and checked Facebook I saw a lot of friend request from some guys aka jocks at my school .

Some cute guy named Peter wrote on his status 'going to Josh's sick party tonight!' I smirked and thought to myself 'Hmm and nobody thought to invite me guess I'll just have to invite myself'. I scrolled through my Twitter but eventually my eyes started closing and I fell into a deep slumber.
