Chapter 23

Jace's POV

After Caleb told me where we were going I was furious and worried because of why she was in jail.

Who the hell was Tyler?! And why didn't she tell me about him!!?

But then again I never told her about Sabrina but Tyler is her best friend and..... Ugh I can't handle all of this.

We arrived at the police station in less than 20 minutes because of Caleb's speeding.

Vanessa's POV

We were teasing the officers and they were starting to get pissed off at us, that they eventually just stopped retaliating and ignored us blatantly but that didn't stop us at all.

All of a sudden the security doors burst open stopping our laughter.

Caleb walked in and I breathed a sigh of relief but that relief instantly turned to shock, as I saw Jace walking closely behind him with an angry look on his face.

Tyler looked at me with a confuse look on his face I whispered to him 'that's Jace'. He nodded his head understandingly and grabbed my hand to comfort me.

As soon as we exited the police station I started yelling at Caleb "Caleb! Why would you bring Jace !?!" Caleb sighed and said "He came to check on you and I-I..."

Jace cut in and said "Why didn't you tell me about Tyler?!"

I sighed angrily and responded "I was going to tell you but I never got the chance !! And why didn't you tell me about Sabrina huh huh ?!? Were you ever going to tell me about her?!?"

He stayed silent and I already knew the answer "That's what I thought Jace. We're going come on Tyler." I said and grabbed Tyler's hand walking towards Caleb's car.

But to my utter dismay Jace had to come too because he drove with Caleb.

Tyler and I sat in the backseat together while Caleb and Jace sat in the front.

The ride home was awkward and tense and I saw Jace glance back at Tyler and I a couple times.

Only when we finally reached home did I understand what Jace was looking at, it was our hands they stayed entwined for the whole ride.

As soon as we reached home, I quickly rushed out of the car with Tyler hot on my heels. I threw open the front door and raced up the stairs towards my room.

I fell straight on my bed and tried not to cry my eyes.

Jace POV

Vanessa ran out the car as soon as we pulled up at her house. I understood why she did it but it hurt me a lot. I sighed angrily shaking my head I said to Caleb "Hey I'm sorry for what I did to your sister but it wasn't my intention."

Then I got out the car and went home with my heart aching to be with Vanessa, but seeing her hold hands with Tyler made my blood boil.

Why was she looking a little too friendly with him I mean there best friends but a little too friendly.

"Ughhhhh!" I screamed then face planted on my bed.

The following day I made it my mission to tell Vanessa the truth and to get her to believe me.

But that didn't turn out as planned because Sabrina decided to show up at my doorstep. I mean can't the girl take a hint! I was done with her for good she ruined my relationship with Vanessa.

This is how it went:

I was waking down the stairs towards the kitchen to get breakfast when I heard the doorbell ring.

"Jace get the door please!" Mom yelled.

I went to answer the door and standing there in all her glory (literally all she's wearing is a tight short pants and a crop top that's so tight it looks as if she's wearing nothing but a bra) "Sabrina what are you doing here?" I said too tired to argue.

She smiled brightly and said "What do you mean silly? I'm here for you!" I sighed frustrated and replied "Did you not understand anything I said yesterday?! I don't wanna see you anymore you! You ruined mine and Vanessa's relationship!"

Just then I heard the sound of my next door neighbors door open and slam. There stood Vanessa in her signature look a black leather jacket, white vest and black skinny jeans. Gorgeous as ever I thought to myself.

She took one look at me and Sabrina and sprinted off towards her car.

I need to her back right now !! I thought to myself determinedly .

"Sabrina please stop bothering me! I'm done talking! I DON'T WANNA BE WITH YOU! What do I have to do for you to understand that!!? I wanna be with Vanessa that's final! Now I'm going to go after my girl. Get out of my way."

I wasted no time in running past Sabrina and straight to my car.

I'm going to get my girl back.

Finally updated !! Yay sooo sorry that I didn't but I literally have no good ideas. I'm going to try and finish this in 2 more chapters. Hopefully!
