Chapter 19

Jace's POV

The next day I decided to meet up with Sabrina without Vanessa knowing.

I felt guilty but I still did it so I decided to meet Sabrina at a cafe not too far out of the city.

I heard the jingle of the door and looked up to see the girl who broke my heart standing in the shortest, tiniest mint skirt that you could think of and a top that showed a little too much cleavage. She approached me with a huge grin on her face, she practically threw herself at me and said "Oh Jace baby!! How are you I missed you so much! But now I'm back for good and we can be to-" I cut her off and said "No! We can't be together. That chance went out the door when you decided to cheat on me." I looked at her and saw a shocked expression on her face and then added "Sabrina sit down please we need to talk."

Vanessa's POV

Today I decided to hang out with Josh since Jace didn't want to answer his phone and I'm reallllyyy bored right now. So here I am at Josh's house playing COD (call of duty).

I kicked his ass several times already and we were still playing cause he refuse to give up although he knows he won't win.

After awhile I heard him ask "So Vanessa how come your here aren't you usually with Jace?" I paused the game and told him "Yea I'm usually with him but he hasn't answered his phone and has been acting weird for a while now so yea." I said in a sad tone

Josh looked deep in thought before smiling at me reassuringly and saying "Hey I guess he's just busy but I'm sure he will stop acting weird just give it some time Kay?" I nodded and we continued playing for awhile until I had to get ready to leave.

I waved goodbye to Josh before speeding off on my motorcycle. I arrived home in no time and headed upstairs to my room.

I was scrolling through Instagram when I got a message from an unknown number I clicked on it and it said :

Hey beautiful how are you doing? I miss you I'm coming to visit in a couple days hope to see you.😘Xx

I looked at the text confused for a little while before grinning like a squirrel on candy. It was Tyler!! My best friend, he was coming ?? Oh my gosh I'm so excited he was one of the few people who had always been there for me. He was also my first boyfriend but we broke it off cause we didn't want to risk our friendship if we broke up.

Jace's POV

I explained to Sabrina how I was no longer in love with her and she seemed to have taken it well. Or so I thought until she said "Well I guess I left you for 2 years so that makes sense that you think you don't love me anymore but I think you still do so when this girl Vanessa breaks your heart call me?" She said Vanessa's name with so much venom then did the action that says call me with her fingers.

Fury consumed me as I glared daggers at her, she just smiled sweetly as if she didn't just insult my girlfriend and offer me a chance to come back to her.

I opened my mouth and responded with a harsh voice "Well listen up here Sabrina I will never get back together with you! So get that through your think skull and also I love Vanessa and I'm pretty sure she loves me back just as much as I do her!" I see her shocked face when I say that  I love Vanessa.

Before she could open her mouth to respond I'm already walking out of the café.

Vanessa's POV

I was sitting on the couch in the living room watching television when I heard the sound of the front door opening. Instantly I snapped my head in the direction and I was quite surprised I didn't get whiplash.

There my oh so loving brother, Caleb, walked through the door but he wasn't alone he had a girl with him and he looked very happy. I don't think they knew I was here because they started making out, it was disgusting. I mean come on who wants to see their older brother sucking face with a girl oh my poor virgin eyes I thought. *Note the sarcasm*

I cleared my throat and said "Oy! Love birds take it up stairs!" They instantly separated and attempted to put as much space as they could between each other. Caleb turned beat red and so did the girl's face too. To say I was shocked would be an understatement Caleb never blushes!! This girl has to be someone special for him to act this way.

Taking me out of my thoughts Caleb finally spoke "Hey sis didn't know you were there...... Anyone were going to go upstairs and study k?" I snorted yea right 'study' I thought and then returned my attention back to the tv.

Not more than 30 seconds after did I hear someone say "Caleb that's not nice! At least introduce me to her! She's your sister for god's sake!" I heard what I think is Caleb sigh before replying in a hush whisper I barely even caught what he said.

Suddenly 2 figures appeared in front of the television and one of them held their hand out and said:

"Hi my name's Natalia. You must be Vanessa, I'm Caleb's girlfriend."

I swear my jaw dropped when she uttered the words 'girlfriend'. You see my brother's a player has been since he was in high school. So for him to settle down shocked me, I quickly masked my surprise and said "Hello it's a great to meet you I am Vanessa and it's sooo nice to meet you." I said with a smile.
