The Bad Duo

Chapter 18

Hey sorry for the late chapter been busy but here is the Christmas chapter.

Vanessa's POV

We arrived at the mall and headed straight for Aeropostale our favourite store. I picked about 3 different dresses then went to the changing room, Valentina followed after me and did the same. I tried on the first one it was a bright red dress with a cut out back, it was short and sleeveless, I liked but didn't love it. The second dress was a glittery red dress that was short and long sleeved, I still wasn't loving it. The last dress was a red lacy dress with long sleeves and a mahogany brown belt. I was absolutely in LOVE with it, I came out the dressing room and found Valentina standing in a black and grey dress, the bottom has random black designs at the bottom and a black long sleeve top.

She looked stunning I walked next to her and said "So what do you think of the dress?" She grinned and said "You look gorgeous Vanessa ! Jace wouldn't be able to keep his hands off you but that wouldn't be a problem because he doesn't do it period." We looked at each other before bursting out laughing.

We walked around the mall for a little longer before we decided to leave and go back home.

Jace's POV

After I left Vanessa's house I decided to go meet up with Josh and David to tell them Sabrina was back. I arrived at Josh's house and rang the doorbell, Jane Josh's mom answered the door and greeted me.

She said "Hello Jace how are you?" I smiled and said "I'm good Jane but can I come in to speak to Josh?" Jane said an 'ok' then welcomed me inside. I instantly ran upstairs to Josh's room I opened it and saw him reading ?!

I was shocked because he never reads at all. So I said "Hey bro what you doing?" Josh jumped up from his position on his bed and fell off the bed. It was so funny I was rolling on the floor laughing. After Josh fixed himself he came up to me and asked "What are you doing here? Vanessa troubles ....... It had better not be I really like her she changed you and she's not as bad as she looks once you get to know her."

I replied "I'm here because I wanted to talk to you about someone." Josh looked at me and then motioned for me to sit on the couch. Once I was settled, I spoke "So do you remember Sabrina? Well anyway she's back and she wants to get back together and I don't know w-what to d-do."

He looked at me and studied me for a while before saying "Well I don't know what to tell you, yes I remember Sabrina the girl that broke your heart then left. I cannot believe she thinks everything will go back to normal."

He then says "I think you shouldn't talk to her because it could jeopardize your relationship with Vanessa and I really like her for you.''

I nodded letting his advice sink in before saying "Ok fine I'll go with your advice but she won't stop spamming me with text messages....." "Ignore her!" He said aggressively.

Vanessa's POV

"Ding" I heard the doorbell ring I ran downstairs to answer the door but before I could get there in time I saw my brother answer the door and greet jace who was dressed in a black sharp tux and he looked SOOO good might I add.

Dinner went well but for some reason I felt as if Jace was hiding something from me so when dinner was over. I dragged an unwilling Jace up towards my bedroom. When we reached my room I locked my door and threw Jace on the bed he landed on the bed with a thump and looked at me perplexed but didn't say anything.

I stood in front of him with my arms folded and stared hard at him. He gave me a questioning gaze before sighing and asking "What's wrong? Your acting weird."    "I was about to ask you the same thing cause all evening you have been acting strange and I want to know why so can you tell me?"  I saw his Adam's apple bob up and down, he seemed nervous but then covered it up with a smirk and said "Babe it's nothing I just got a lot of stuff on my mind ok?" He grabbed my hand and I landed on his lap he wrapped his arms around my waist and looked at me. I sighed knowing he won't tell me anything and said "Fine I'll let it go but next time I'm not."

Jace's POV

Although Josh said to ignore Sabrina I just couldn't and had decided I'll meet her and tell her I moved on. I laid in bed thinking about how I lied straight to Vanessa's face and how guilty I felt afterwards. With that thought left I fell into a deep slumber.
