Chapter 22

Jace's POV

The next morning I woke up and realized that it was over between me and Vanessa. It broke my heart, but if she had believe Sabrina that I didn't love her and that I was still a player then I knew she never trusted me.

I had to get over her but I would not because I'm selfish and I want my girl back!

Vanessa's POV

I woke up the next morning cuddled up next to Tyler. I felt safe in his arms but it wasn't the same as Jace.Carefully I unwrapped his arms from my waist and went to take a shower.

After I was finishing bathing I went downstairs to start preparing breakfast. Not long after did Tyler come downstairs rubbing his eyes tiredly, he mumbled a "Good morning."

I replied "Morning," and rested a plate of eggs, bacon and sausage with bread in front of him.

It was 6:30 pm and Tyler and I were playing monopoly when he said "You know what?" I looked up at him and said "What?" 
He looked at me and replied "I can't stand watching you sad anymore come on we are gonna do something fun!! Go and get dress I'm taking you out."

I obliged and went to get ready. He didn't tell me where we were going so I threw on some black skinny jeans and a top saying my neck, my back, my Netflix and my snacks.

We left the house and started driving in the direction of the mall but we passed it straight.

Tyler was driving since he wouldn't allow me to. So I'm just here in the front seat playing around with the radio.

Soon we arrived at the pub, we got out the car and headed towards it.

We ordered a couple drinks and I'm guessing your wondering how we got the drinks so easily, well we kinda got fake I.D's. We got them made back in California when we use to go to clubs.

              [1 hour later]

"We arrrrreeee sooooo wasted Nesssssaaaaa!!!" slurred Tyler next to me. I drunkly smiled at him and I said "Yesssss weeee arreeee..."

We somehow ended up on the dance floor. We were dancing wildly jumping up and down.

"Hey Vanessa can I try something?" Tyler asked me. Before I could reply Tyler's lips were on mine I was in complete shock. He was about to remove his lips when I started kissing him back. I had to get over Jace right? What better way to do that is to be with someone who knows me better than anyone else.

Tyler wanted access and I gladly granted him, my hands wrapped around his neck and kissed him back gently.

We finally broke apart and smiled at each other then I said "Wanna do something crazy?" He looked at me and instantly responded "Of course!"

We were walking out of the bar holding on to each other so we won't fall down. When we saw a bulky, very serious police officer, we immediately tried to look sober and cautiously walked pass him. He looked at us curiously but we got in my car before he could ask any questions. We were about to drive off when we saw the police officer walk into the bar.

Tyler and I quietly walked around the cars towards the white and blue police car.

Successfully we reached and cautiously crept inside the vehicle. The officer left his keys in the car running What an idiot.... I thought to myself.

I turned the keys and restarted the car as soon as I did that the now angry officer came running out of the pub.

I hastily stepped on the gas pedal speeding down the road with Tyler by my side.

We kept on driving until we ran out of gas and got stopped by the cops. It didn't take long cause the car only had half a tank.

We got arrested for driving drunk and stealing a police car.

So here we are sitting in a jail cell with 3 plain grey wall to stare at, smiling like idiots. "Hey officer! Aren't we allowed one phone call?" I asked the young man standing by our cell. He turned to me and said "Yes you are."

Tyler and I discussed who to call and we had no choice but to call my parents, I highly doubted they were gonna answer but I still called.

"Hello?" I heard Caleb say. I sighed in relief and said "Hey mind bailing us out of jail?" I asked biting my lip nervously. "WHAT?! What are you doing in jail you made a promise! Wait us!? Who else are you with?" He shouted, I sighed and said "Oh you know just Tyler.......So will you come?" He replied "Yes, I'm on my way."

Caleb's POV

I was in the living room watching a scary movie with the lights off and a bag of popcorn in front of me. When the home phone rang, I jumped ten feet in the air and screamed like a little girl at the sound.

I quickly composed myself thanking god no one was home to witness that and rushed to answer the phone. "Hello?" I asked, I heard a sigh on the other end then "Hey mind bailing us out of jail?" From a voice I knew all too well.

"WHAT?! What are you doing in jail you made a promise! Wait us?! Who else are you with?" I said rubbing my temple in an agitated way. Then Vanessa said "Oh you know just Tyler.......So will you come?" I sighed knowing I had no other choice and replied "Yes, I'm on my way."

I grabbed my keys, wallet and phone then headed towards the door. I opened it and was greeted by a sad looking Jace asking me "Hey is Vanessa home?" Vanessa's gonna kill me I thought to myself before saying :

"Come on follow me." I said, he looked at me before asking "Why? What's wrong? Is it something with Vanessa?" I laughed before saying "Yea it is but I don't think your going to like it." He looked at me but followed me towards my car.

Vanessa's POV

"So we're safe, Caleb is picking us up." I reassured Tyler. He was very much sober by now and was super calm. "So what are going to do now?" He asked. I smiled saying "Just wait until he comes but that's no fun. How about we annoy the officers?" I said but whispered the last part.

He smiled wickedly and said "Oh it's on...... Hey officer....."
