Ilang taon na ba syang nag nagtratrabaho sa opisinang iyon at pinaglilingkuran ang kanyang amo? She calculated. From the day she graduated from college until now that she is 29 years old. Almost 8 years for Pete's sake! No social life dahil masyado syang busy sa kanyang trabaho. No love life dahil hindi rin nya maharap. She wondered kung kailan kaya sya magkakaroon ng love life? She gathered all her things. She stood up from her chair and went to her Boss' office. She composed herself before knocking.
"Sir..." she said while knocking.
"Come in." says the commanding voice.
"Sir, tapos na po."
"Good."
"Sir, can I go now?"
Tinignan lang sya nito na parang inoobserbahan. And God! She suddenly got conscious about her appearance! Pwedeng mag-melt?
"Kumain ka na ba?" she was shocked by his question. Aba'y natural lang na magulat sya. Hello?! Her boss just asked her kung kumain na raw sya! Her Boss? The great James Lorenzo Almeda?! "O, bakit parang gulat na gulat ka Miss Darang?"
She shook her head and cleared her throat before answering, "Ahm... No sir. Not yet."
She saw him gathered his things, put his coat on and started to walk towards the door. Pero bago sya lagpasan, may sinabi itong ikanagulat nya mas lalo....
"Come on, let's grab some meals.."
Gosh! Did he just ask her out?!
Shocked was written all over her face! For almost 8 years of being together as a boss and a secretary, ngayon lang sya niyaya ng kanyang boss! Well, aside from the business lunch/dinner meetings, of course.
