Bucky had noticed her ever since she'd come into the bar, all flustered and disgruntled, with her long brown hair pulled up into a ponytail and deep brown eyes looking somewhat forlorn. She was simply beautiful, almost ethereal in her looks and also quite dainty. A very unusual sight met him when he let his eyes wander lower to her arm - it was tattooed! He raised his eyebrow at the fact; he didn't usually go for the tomboyish girls but this one had him intrigued. He was there with some of his soldier friends but he had kept his eye on her. He later watched her beat the crap out of some guy and he could tell it surprised a lot of people in there. He watched a tall man in a suit rush towards her to see if she was okay and then watched her join him and another one at a table. He wondered if one of them was a boyfriend of hers. He watched her laugh and relax somewhat while she was with them. Yes...definitely an intriguing woman and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
He noticed her glancing over at him every once in a while but he still wasn't sure whether she was already attached or not. She suddenly stood up and started making her way over to him. He gave her his best flirtatious smile before taking a sip of his drink. He was used to women fawning over him, even if the numbers had reduced dramatically ever since Steve had become a super soldier; the worst one being where he was rejected and completely ignored by Peggy Carter. However, as he'd noticed from the moment she'd entered the bar, there was something different about this one. He could just tell.

Lily stopped right in front of him and asked outright, "Hi, can I ask you a question?" His smile widened a little further.
"Sure thing, doll," he replied. Wow, even his voice was sexy. He separated slightly from his group and waited for her to ask her question.
"Are you single?" This question kind of threw him a little. He wasn't used to a woman being so straightforward so he faltered slightly before he smiled again and replied.
"Yes, I am." Before he knew what was happening, one of her hands reached around his neck and pulled him down for a deep kiss. Her other hand ran up his chest and fisted in his collar pulling him in further. He was, however, only shocked for a few seconds before he started to kiss her back with just as much passion. He snaked his free arm around her waist and pulled her in, causing her to moan. He could hear the whistles from his friends but he didn't care. This dame could really kiss and she seemed to know what she wanted. The kiss though didn't last as long as he would have liked and she pulled back, winked at him and thanked him before she left to go back to her male friends. He just watched her, confused as hell, walking back to her table and collect some money off the table with a triumphant smile. She slipped the money in her bosom and turned to wink at him again before she sat down.
'I was a bet?ʼ he thought to himself, still confused as hell.
Bucky felt someone clap him on the back and he was startled out of his shocked stupor.
"What just happened? Did you know that girl?"
He shook his head, in answer to both questions.
"Way to go, Buck!" someone else said before buying him another drink.
"You're my hero!" said another. Bucky had heard enough.
"Excuse me boys," he said before leaving his group and walking towards that girl.

"Told ya!" I said with a triumphant look. Sam was grinning wildly.
"Not so fast!" started Dean, "We didn't agree on a simple kiss!"
I swiped the money away and pushed it into my cleavage. He wouldn't dare go there just to get the money.
"Dean, give it up...I've already won," I said as I turned and gave the guy another wink before I sat down.
"What do you mean? It was just a kiss!" he protested. I leaned over the table and raised an eyebrow.
"Just give him 5 seconds. And Sam? My key please," I said with a smirk. He handed me my room key and sure enough, the guy I'd just kissed came over.
"Sorry to interrupt, miss...could I have a minute?" said the guy, looking at me with a still-confused expression on his face. He looked adorable like that. I nodded and stood up again.
"Excuse me, boys," I said as I turned and walked a little way away from them.

"I think introductions are in order, don't you think?" asked Bucky, regaining his confidence back. He refused to falter in this beauty's presence, "I'm James Buchanan Barnes but my friends call me Bucky."
She gave him a small smile before she took his hand, "Liliana Coleman; my friends call me Lily." She didn't let go of his hand immediately and she was giving him an increasingly flirtatious look.
"So...I was a bet?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. She laughed at that and he decided that he loved her laugh.
"Kind of," she said, "But not in a bad way." He tilted his head to urge her to continue.
"See those two boys over there? We work together and they're kind of my family. The shorter one is usually very good with the ladies but the one he was eyeing up was definitely not the type to give him the time of day so I told him so and we decided to bet on it - that he wouldn't get her. He then bet me I couldn't get you..." she explained.
"Oh? And why me?" he asked with a laugh. His eyes were twinkling with mirth. This was getting interesting.
"Because you're the only one that caught my eye in here," she said bluntly. He was once again slightly thrown by her bluntness. He really had never met anyone like her before.
"It's getting late," she said with a soft smile. His face fell a little. He wanted to spend some more time with her. He didn't know how long she was staying there for and he didn't know how long he was staying there before they sent him off on a mission.
"Oh, right. Sure..." He started but she didn't let him finish.
"Well? Are you coming?" she asked before he noticed she had walked a few steps away from him. He furrowed his eyebrows in slight confusion but then realised she must want him to walk her to wherever she was staying. He nodded and turned to signal to his friends that he'd be back before reaching her.
"Where do you live?" he asked.
"Oh, we move around a lot...I'm originally from California. For the next few nights though, we're staying here," she explained as they walked up the stairs to her floor. It was three floors up and they finally reached her door.
"Well, Lily, it was a pleasure to meet you," he whispered while she was opening her door. She tilted her head and raised an eyebrow. She smiled when she realised he had no clue she wanted him to go inside. It was very sweet of him not to assume they'd be doing anything else that night - it was a very nice change from the men in her time but she wanted him and she knew he wanted her too. Her powers tingled when he was near. She knew there was something special about him and deep down, it broke her heart that she'd have to leave him behind and not see him ever again after the case was over.
He took her hand and brought it to his lips to kiss it.
"I hope to see you again," he said before he started to depart slowly as he slid his hand out of hers. Instead she gripped his hand and pulled him towards her and kissed him on the lips once again that night.
She parted from him, just far enough to whisper, "Where do you think you're going?" She heard him let out a slightly shaky breath before he claimed her lips once more and pushed her into her room. He shut the door closed and pushed her up against it.
