Eventually we just gave up and went back to the Salvatore house and we sat on the sofa and did nothing I thought to myself everything that Bonnie had told me about the other prison worlds. All of those people trapped in prison worlds were alive when it happened to them. Katherine was dead.
I asked her about it "there are two types of prison worlds Elena, one for the dead and one for the living, the ones for the living are to keep people protected from them, the ones for the dead are so the dead can regret their lives and the people that they've hurt. Didn't you ever notice that in the living prison worlds they had nothing to do with the real earth they couldn't see the living people but here we can." Katherine explained.
That did explain a lot, but now the trouble is can we still get out of here the same way. I didn't get why I was in Katherine's prison world I know I have her doppelgänger blood but wouldn't that mean that Tatia and Amara should be here too.
I asked Katherine and she said that they weren't here because they were already dead before the prison world was created.
"You really know your stuff" I told Katherine wondering how she knew so much.
"Yeah I did my research, I've been here for what seems like forever, I've got to do something to keep myself occupied"
