I searched the whole house but I still couldn't find her, I didn't want to be completely alone again, I was starting to get a little worried. Then she appeared out of nowhere with a knife.

"Elena what are you doing?!" I said backing away from the knife. "Get that thing away from me" she started walking closer to me, shaking. She started talking
"I've been stuck here with you, for what seems like forever, and now I just saw my boyfriend kiss my best friend, and before that, I saw my other best friend kiss my ex boyfriend, and I don't know what to do Katherine"

She burst out into tears. "My life is over" she said a little too literally.
"Ya think?" I muttered under my breath, forgetting about the power of vampire hearing. "This is not the time Katherine!" She shouted with tears running down her cheek, her voice was crockey, and you could tell she was torn inside.

"Elena I'm sorry, but there's no need to kill me, again!....." I said, still backing away from the knife. "I don't know what to do Katherine, I don't know what to do, I can't kill Bonnie she's my best friend" Elena said, she was really confused and still coming at me with the knife.

"Here's an idea, let's not kill anyone" I said, I was scared even though I would come back to life, dying hurts. "Look at me I'm a mess, I'm dead but I'm still threatening to take lives from people, this isn't me, I'm not like this, Katherine help me" she was begging me but I didn't know what to do.

"It hurts so much, I don't wanna feel anymore. I can't do this" I knew what she was thinking and I couldn't let her, I can't be stuck here, with a vampire with no humanity.
"Elena no, I need you, please just stay with me" I said.

"I won't be able to feel the pain anymore, I'll be free" she said.
"Elena you're being selfish, please don't do this"
"You can't talk to me about being selfish, you killed lots of innocent people to get where you are today" that was true, I had been selfish my whole life.

Elena closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she was gone, her humanity was gone.
