Fawn pulls free her elvish swords as Fang runs towards battle. She catches sight of Thranduil and they make eye contact. His eyes widen and he shakes head. She looks away, her face fierce and her teeth bared. "Go, faster!" She begins to shout in a mixture of elvish and khuzuldul. A prayer to the fates. "Protect me. Bless my blade with death. Curse my enemies as the feel my wrath!" Orcs charge her and she and Fang release battle cries. She swings her blades, the glowing steels slicing through flesh and cutting bone.

--------------------------------------------

Orcs surround her and Fang and Fawn stands on Fang's back, sheathing her blades and grabbing her chains. She swings them all around her and Fang rapidly, causing the orcs surrounding them to back up or be sliced to pieces. Fawn spots Thranduil, his elk running toward her, plowing through orc ranks, and she shakes her head, yelling in elvish. "No! Please! Go help the people of Dale! PLEASE!" He pulls his elk's reins and it stops-still knocking orcs away with it's antlers-and Fawn sees fear and worry fill Thranduil's cold blue eyes. She gives him a sad smile. "Please." He hesitates but turns his elk and rides to Dale.

---------------------------------------------

As more and more orcs and trolls enter the city, Thranduil rides his elk into the city by crossing one of the bridges. As he crosses, his elk tramples many orcs. The elk lowers its horns and spears five orcs at the same time, lifting them up so that Thranduil can behead all of them with one swing of his sword. As they thunder into the city, his elk is killed by multiple Orc arrows to the chest. As it falls, Thranduil leaps clear and rolls. He comes up from his roll to find himself surrounded by orcs. He pulls out both his sword and begins fighting them, soon reinforced by his elven foot troops.

Worry and regret ate at him over leaving Fawn to fend for herself, and time and time again he wanted to go but she had pleaded with him to help defend Dale and he knew she'd never forgive him if he didn't heed her pleas. Please survive my dear hybrid.

---------------------------------------------------

An arrow manages to bypass her chains and hit her. The steel hit her arm, breaking on impact and falling the the ground. Fawn stared shocked and during her moment of distraction the orcs managed tho get a little closer. Fang whimpers and snaps his teeth. "Fall back to the mountain!" Fawn looks behind her and sees Dain and his men running to Erebor. "Fang! run to the mountain." She quickly puts her whips back on her hips and palms her bow, firing at the orcs surrounding her. She grits her teeth. "NOW!" Fang obeys and runs to Erebor as Fawn clears a path for him shooting arrows four at a time.

Fang stops beside Dain, who studies the warg then Fawn. Fang turns toward the approaching army and Fawn fires upon them. "Who the bloody hell are you?!" Fawn glances at the dwarf and smiles. "Fawn, part dwarf, part elf, daughter of Gandalf the Grey." Dain looks around, he and Fang slowly backing up as the army drew closer. The suddenly stop and Fawn seizes her onslaught of arrows, she and Dain looking at each other than the orc army. "Why have they stopped?"

The orcs sound their signalling horn, and the orcs and trolls begin to march forward. Suddenly, another trumpet is heard. Fawn looks up and smiles. It is Bombur, atop the wall, blowing into a battle horn. Fawn turns back to the army and watches as the orcs stop in confusion.

The barricade of rocks in the gateway of Erebor suddenly smashes outward as it is hit from inside by a giant golden statue that the dwarves had hung up like a bell. The rocks fall forward and make a rough bridge across the moat. Thorin and his dwarves rush out and through the ranks of the Iron Hills dwarves, Fawn joins the group, Fang running alongside Dwalin. Dain begins shouting to his troops.

"TO THE KING! TO THE KING!"

Thorin lets out a battle cry. "Du Bekâr!" To arms!

Thorin leads the way as all the dwarves form a wedge behind him. They smash their way through the orc ranks, releasing their pent up anger and hatred. Fawn draws her swords and decapitates orcs.
