It's been a hot minute since I've written a one-shot now huh??

I'm so sorry about that!!! 

I've been unmotivated and just didn't know what to write.

But thanks to some random surge, I'm ready to write!!

Extra?: Can we get more Balloon ships made into stories??? I'm tired of seeing Nickloon centered stories.... Sorry to the Nickloon shippers... but man is it overrated.... We need more rarepairs like Lightloon and Baseloon! Sorry. On to the one-shot!!

It was just another day in the OSC and everything has been pretty peaceful. All of the former contestants were out doing their part to keep things peaceful.

Some were creating a safe place for the objects, others were trying their best to make sure everyone was fed with food. Things were nice, maybe a little too nice for some objects to not feel weird about.

Ever since Mephone gave up the Shimmer's power and left, things have been... well more than weird in ways. Without the show, things were slow and steady. Not that it was bad, it was just boring.

Lightbulb spent most of her days just wandering around and being careful. She couldn't do much in this little community which bummed her out a bit.

The kitchen work was too dangerous even with the Shimmer power given to the OSC to keep them afloat. And being part of the safety team was an absolute 'no' from Life Ring for the same reason.

So because there wasn't much she could do, she's just bored most of the days. Lightbulb sighed as she sat near a tree, staring out into the woods.

"Ugh... I'm so bored...", Lightbulb sighed.

Nobody was around to hear her cries, so the bright bulb just sat there as her light dimmed from boredom. Not even her best friend Paintbrush was there to comfort her never ending boredom.

Paintbrush right now was in a meeting with the safety team to make sure everything is all up and safe. As the meeting kept going, they couldn't help but feel bored.

The meetings were almost always the same. Everything was about how safe things were, if everyone was okay and if there were any new characters that escaped from Mephone.

Most of the time, everything was all the same. Parameters were safe, everyone was doing well outside the hospital building and inside the building.

Same old boring meetings, same old repetitive days and weeks. Paintbrush sighed, stood up and walked out the meeting as it concluded for the day.
