Ginny-
Harry had been doing a lot of research and was working tirelessly to try and find out who attacked Lily. Ginny had told him to take a break but Harry ignored her. If it was a Death Eater then it was better if they were caught quickly to avoid any further attacks. Ginny knew he was right but she needed him at the moment.
Today Ginny was sitting at Lily's beside in St Mungo's waiting for the slightest improvement. Harry was once again busy working and James and Albus hadn't returned after they went back to Hogwarts. Constantly they had been Owling Ginny and Harry asking if there was any change and it was a simple answer. No. It was heartbreaking for Ginny to answer them.
As Ginny held Lily's hand her fingers began to twitch. Ginny immediately looked up and saw that Lily was moving. This was the first movement in ages.
Two healers came into the room and checked her over. They told Ginny that this was good news and that it was a positive sign. They said that she will be able to talk properly again in a few days and soon after that will be able to go home.
Ginny breathed out a sigh of relief. Lily was her only girl and youngest child and she didn't want to lose her. Ginny didn't know what she would've done if she had lost Lily. Her world would've fallen apart and she would not have been herself.
Luckily, Ginny had brought a quill and ink so she could write to Harry and James and Albus if anything had changed with Lily. Ginny began to write to James:
Dear James,
Hope everything at Hogwarts is ok and that you're looking out for Albus. Just to let you know that Lily has woken up and she should be coming home from St Mungos soon. Please pass this on to Albus.
Mum x
Ginny decided to send the letter when she gets home. She got up and left the room and apparated home.
Hopefully everything would be ok.
As soon as Ginny got home she whispered a patronus to Harry to explain what had happened.
Ginny found the family Owl and attached the letter to its claws and soon it flew away into the distance. The sun was shining brightly. It was around lunchtime so Ginny assumed that they would either just be finishing lessons or already sitting down for lunch. Owls fly pretty fast to Ginny hoped that the letter would get there quickly.
Suddenly the second family Owl flew into the room. Harry must've let him out when he left for work this morning. The dark brown Owl flew into the room and dropped a letter addressed to Harry and Ginny or Mr and Mrs Potter as it said on the letter. Ginny flipped the letter over and saw the famous Hogwarts stamp on the back of the envelope. The other Owl hadn't returned from delivering the letter. So this couldn't be good news. Ginny opened the letter and started to read it:
Dear Mr and Mrs Potter,
I am writing to you to inform you on your son James' behaviour. Recently, he has been misbehaving in lessons and has been sent to my office frequently. I have heard about Lily Potter's attack and I was in complete shock, so I think that his misbehaving must've been his worry for his sister.
As Headmistress I have decided to warn you about James' behaviour. One incident was when he accidentally caused one of his friends Miss Ruby Forest serious burns to her hands due to an acidic potion. James has apologised for the incident. He has also been lashing out at others.
Furthermore, further action may take place if his behaviour doesn't improve.
Yours sincerely,
Headmistress McGonagall.
Ginny sighed down at the letter. James was a very protective brother but it wasn't right that he should be getting into trouble. Then again his friend is Fred Weasley and Fred's dad is George. Ginny didn't want James getting told off.
Then the front door, opened and then closed. Harry then walked into the from and sat down next to Ginny on the sofa.
"How's Lily?" He asked.
"She's woken up and the healers say that she could be out of St Mungos soon." Ginny replied.
"What's that?" He asked looking down at the letter that Ginny held in her hands.
"It's a letter from Headmistress McGonagall. Apparently James has been misbehaving in lessons. He's upset and frustrated about Lily's attack."
"He's only worried about her."
"I know."

Hello my loveliesI'm so so so sorry it's taken me over a month to update and I know that this isn't the best chapter. I've just started school again and I'm in a very important year (year 10 although it's not as important as year 11) which means that I have to work harder at school.
I will try and update as often as I can and I apologise for the long delay.
Thank you
Alice in Wonderland xx
