Karishma's priority

Karishma also couldn't see Haseena this way, upset and distant. She went to her room and thought, she thought a lot.

Her eyes wandered all around, until it stopped, at a photo frame of Haseena and Karishma, it was one from their childhood, little Haseena and Karishma.

Karishma smiled at it, went towards it and held it close to her heart. "We don't hide things from each other, we are sisters, noor dii is my elder sister, meri badi behen hai vo, I don't get to hide things from her

She thought so, kept the frame back in its place and made her way to the dinning table again. She picked up her file from the bunch and went to Haseena's room.

KS: uhm, noor dii, baat kr sakte hai?

On sensing the seriousness and hesitation in Karishma's voice, Haseena kept the book aside and sad upright, all alert

HM: boliye? Kya baat hai

Karishma brought the file infront and started apologizing

KS: noor dii, I'm so sorry, hum samajh gye aap kyu tabse aise behave kar rahi hai... I know I've disobeyed you.... Us din, mai aur ammi bahar gye the, we enjoyed a lot, itna ki I had no energy or time to complete a new file. We had alot of fun, which I've told you about already.

Haseena was about to speak when Karishma interrupted

KS: and dii, I'm not making excuses, I'm just keeping you posted kyuki aapne kaha na, sisters ke beech there are no secrets, and we don't get to hide things from each other.... I know I've been at fault.... Par I'm really... And I'm also sorry for sneaking into the assignment files without your permission

Karishma looked up to find Haseena glaring at her, with her arms crossed infront of her chest. Karishma bowed again

KS: dii dekho aap punishment de do, par baat toh Karo na merse, aap aise baat hi nahi kr rahe the thik se, isliye merko majburan files dekhni padhi, firse nahi hoga I'm sorry.... Aap baat toh karlo pls

Haseena's heart somewhere melted at the honest confession by Karishma. She knew Karishma was being truthful, she could sense it from her eyes and voice. She knew her sister, her shehzaadi very well. She didn't want to treat her such at home, but it just came out naturally.

Haseena looked at Karishma, their eyes met for the first time since the apology, she gave her a very tiny smile, one that could've been missed if Karishma wasn't watching, on realising that Karishma had caught her smile, Haseena opened her arms a little.

Karishma got the cue, she went and hugged Haseena, tightly, mumbling a sorry. Haseena made soothing circles at Karishma's back, calming her. She then kissed on her forehead.

Finally, breaking the hug, she cupped Karishma's face

HM: aap kyu karti hai aise

KS: sorry na.... Galti toh candidate Karishma se hui hai... Toh coach ko saza deni chahiye na... Noor di kyu naraz hai?

HM: aap bilkul sahi keh rahi hai, saza aapko aapki coach hi degi... Par even as your Noor di, hum chahte hai aap acha perform kare academy mei.

At this, Karishma looked up at Haseena

HM: aapko warn karne ke baad bhi aise kiya aapne, enjoyment ko first priority rakhi, na ki academy assignment ko, aap hi bataiye chhoti, kya aap 1 hour zyada jaag ke assignment complete nahi kr sakti thi? Ya hum zyada expect kar rahe hai aapse?

At this, Karishma bowed her head, guilt pouring in, Haseena was right, Karishma could easily complete it in the proper manner, Haseena wanted her to, by sleeping a little less for that night. Sleep could've been covered the other day as well.

Or, she could've asked ammi to return home a little early. But she was the one who pressed ammi to have dinner outside as well, stretching the timeframe. She could've easily managed both, but she didn't, purposely, that was wrong.

She looked up again at her Noor di, she caught her own ears and said "sorry Noor dii, hum samajh rhe hai, manage ho sakta tha, galti humara hi hua"

Haseena melted, her anger fully gone now, this was exactly what she wanted. She wanted Karishma to realise the importance of balancing fun and academy, without having to punish her. This wasn't something she could force on Karishma through a punishment.

But now that her chhoti had understood, Noor dii was glad. About the assignment, now it's upto Coach Haseena to deal with candidate Karishma.

Haseena couldn't see her sister this way. She went to her, removed the hands from Karishma's ears and patted her cheek lightly saying "next time na ho aisa, priority padhai and academy hai, your future is important, samjhi?"

Karishma nodded and mock saluted Haseena

KS: uhm aur...

HM: kahiye

KS: kal fir?

HM: file toh aapne dekh hi li hai apni, baaki bachho ke saath aa jaaiyega cabin mei, aapke saath vaha Maddam Mallik accordingly deal karengi.

Karishma groaned at this, she knew Coach Haseena wouldn't be easy on her, she never was, she never will be.

The sisters had dinner together, chit chatting their way through the night, and then delved into a deep slumber of sleep.

The next morning,

Karishma was extra attentive at training as compared to the other students. For, she knew the storm that was upcoming. She glanced at Saumya Gupta, whose file was on top of the list, and other students, the name of whom she remembered seeing in the bundle.

Someone yawned, some stumbled, some even dared to miss out on a few counts trying to smuggle their way out. If the rep for situps was 20, they did 18 and they thought it was smart of them to escape the training, even if it was by a few situps or pushups.

But what they don't know, is Haseena is over attentive today as well, she's keenly observing the students from the bundle with hawk eyes. And Karishma, she knew, Haseena was tracking everyone down.

Karishma could sense it, she could read it from her sister's eyes, the gaze she held on those particular students, who tried over smartness with Maddam Mallik, were not gonna be spared easily. She knew, all the intentional and/or unintentional mistakes they were making on the ground today, would be used by Haseena, against them in the cabin.

None of them will be spared. Only if they knew, Karishma thought. She was grateful that she had figured it out earlier, hence she could be over attentive.

Aaj ke liye bas itna hi...
