Woods Bertolt×Reader

(just saying its a bit short and rushed sorry if its crap or anything's spelt wrong including Bert's name)

Third person POV-

"Are you sure they went this way?" You asked holding on tighter to Bertold waist. A few hours earlier you had been thrown off your horse causing you to have a possibly broken leg. Thankfully Bertolt had found you and the sun had begun to set so the titans were becoming less active.

Bertolt shrugged, "I saw some horse tracks leading this way so they might have." You sighed. You really were going to die out here weren't you?

"We're never going to find them are we?" You asked burying your cold face into the back of Bertolts green cape.

Bertold blushed slightly giving another shrug. "I really don't know..we might. You just have to think positive (y/n)."

You rolled your (e/c) giving him a half hearted laugh. "Its hard to think positive when your lost in the middle of the forest cold and drenched in rain."

Bertolt pulled the reins making the horse change directions once again. "Hey if your that cold I could give you my cape too."

You sniffled wiping your nose on the back of your sleeve. Was being out here this long already making you catch a cold. Maybe you should take his offer. No you couldn't he needed it or he'd get sick too. "No its okay, you need it or you'll freeze to death out here."

He turned back to look at you and smile. "Well I'd be worth it."

You could feel your cheeks get even more red but this time not from the cold. "Oh be quiet, I'm not worth dying of hypothermia."

Bertolt looked ahead of himself once again blushing and trying his hardest not to be awkward. "Well uhm I'd die for you (y/n)."

"Wh-what?"

The tall teenager cleared his throat, "W-well you see I like you so yah I wouldn't mind dying for you or anything like that." Bertolt  mentally slapped himself. Did that come out as lame and totally awkward as he thought it did? Probably.

You on the other hand were speechless. You already had your crush save you that day and now you just got a confession out of him? I mean today was going pretty well now, you know despite the fact of the whole lost in the woods thing.

"I-I like you too." You said shyly barley above a whisper.

Right then Bertolt stopped mentally slapping himself. Did he hear you correctly? You just said you liked him back...You said you liked him back! "Really? You like me back?"

Scooting closer to him you nodded. "Of course I do. Why wouldn't I like you back. Especially after all this. I mean you could've left me out there to die but you didn't."

"W-well I couldn't have just left the girl I like out there to freeze could I?"

"I guess not" You yawned, resting your forehead on Bert's back.

Grinning Bertolt pulled the reins again changing directions. "Exactly now take a nap, I'll have us back in inside the walls when you wake up."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

"Ok." Almost instantly you fell asleep. Bertolt couldn't help but think how cute you looked, or how his plan actually worked. Who knew all it took for you two to get together was to get 'lost' in the woods.

A/n:oh my God its been forever since I have updated and I wanted to say I am so so sorry! The hetalia fandom and the phandom kinda just sucked me into this place where I kinda just blanked out about the snk fandom.
