Third Person POV-

You stood in line with your fellow cadets waiting for Shardis to assighn you a partner for today. So far everybody who would be a good partner were being assigned to other people and you mentally sighed tapping your foot impatiently. You looked at the clouds and begain to doze off.

"Cadet (l/n)!" You quickly turned your attention to your instructor."Your paired up with Braun now get to training!" You rolled your eyes and tucked a piece of (h/c) hair behind your ear. Hesitantly you walked up to the blonde. He was your crush but you didn't let it show, because 'love is for the weak.' as you would always say.

"Okay lets get this over Braun. Do you want the knife or should I take it, we wouldn't want you stabbing yourself."

"Awe Common (y/n) im a big boy I can be careful." You snickered fiddling with the dull wooden knife in your hands.

"Fine prove your a man, and don't stab yourself." You rudely shoved the knife to his chest careful not to accidentally stab him. Getting into a sparring position you waited for him to make the first move.

Renier gawked at your sudden action but got the message getting into a sparring stance as well. He stared right into your (e/c) you tried not to act intimidated."Don't just stand there fight me!"You spat.

"You asked for it."Before you knew what happened Renier quickly spun around kicking you behind the knees making you fall backwards onto your back. You gasped as you hit the ground. When you didn't get up immediately Renier took this to his advantage and crawled over you. Holding the knife to your throat.

He stared at you for while with a stupid white toothed grin. You growled at your stupidity of not getting up fast enough."Get off me already you won!"

"Alright, jeez someone has there panties in a twist."He laughed.

You rolled your eyes and pushed him away."I swear to Wall Rose your such a pervert." You said just loud enough for him to here. He hugged getting back up and dusting his uniform off. "Alright round two Braun." You got back in your stance.

"Y/n) you can call me Renier you know."

He positioned himself.

You blew your hair out of your face."Braun suits you better. Or would you like me to call you Reindeer?"

Renier grunted. He ran to you trying to hit your arm but you quickly dodged under his arm and elbowed him in the back roughly. Not waisting a second you turned back to face him but he was too fast and was able to grab you by your waist and pull you close to him again putting the stupid knife by your throat."My name isn't Reindeer. But I'd let you call me it."You felt your cheeks warm up.

Before Renier could make things more awkward you elbowed him in the gut making Renier release you. You did a flawless roundhouse kick hitting him in the ribcage. Renier stumbled backwards clutching his side."Common Renier don't get distracted were.supposed to be training! And don't go easy on me I can tell you are!"

"Fine I wont go easy on you!" Before you could react Renier lunged at you. You closed your eyes and let out a squeal before hitting the dirt with a loud thud. Opening your eyes you noticed Renier was laying on you. His face in a not so appropriate place. You screamed and smacked his head.

"Get off of me you pervert!"You blushed dark red.

Renier looked up from his head being burried in your chest. His cheeks were pink when he noticed exactly how you both were positioned. "I-I'm sorry (y/n)." He moved so now he was sitting next to you on the ground.

You smiled getting an idea. As quick as you could you ripped the knife away from Renier and pushed him to the ground. Kneeling over him with the knife now to his throat you laughed and kissed his nose."Nothing to be sorry about, just don't to it again. And I thought I told you."You leaned closer to his face,"Don't go easy on me."

Renier closed the space between you giving you a gentle pasionet kiss."Ill try but I don't want to break something as gorgeous as you."

You smiled and got off of him."To bad your not going easy on me anytime soon. Even if I have to make you."
