EPILOGUE (Part 2)

"Mukha kang puyat. Anong ginawa mo?" usisa ni Sen nang makaalis si Sil para mag-ikot sa mga booth.

"Nagbantay." I said absent-mindedly.

I checked my phone to see if Suadela replied to my last message.

Wala.

"Ng?" si Sen na kunot-noong tinignan ako habang nakahiga sa couch.

I paused. Sen does not know a thing about Suadela and Castor. I don't have the right to tell him either.

I looked at him and frowned, "Akala ko ba matutulog ka?"

Sen tsked and put his left arm on his forehead. "Damot..."

Yeah, I guess aside from keeping Suadela's secret, spending time with her was a little bit too fun that I want to keep it to myself. I badly want to do that—gusto ko siyang ipagdamot pero sino ba ako para gawin iyon? Wala akong karapatan.

Though I sometimes wonder what would Suadela say if she learns that I drop what I'm doing and rush to her with just a simple text from her.

"Luan!" Jam shouted as everyone inside the gym looked surprised.

"Take a video and send it to me," I instructed and rushed outside the gym. Suadela sent a message and it seemed important.

"Akala ko ba libre ka ngayon?!" nagtatakang pahabol na tanong ni Jam na hindi ko na sinagot.

Gym. Why?

I sent that while running. Jam and others were polishing some stunts for the IDC and I was there to check them.

Wait mo ko dyan.

I frowned when I saw Suadela's reply. I called her.

"What's wrong?" I asked as soon as she answered. I'm already at the entrance of the main building.

"Let's talk."

"About?" I was already approaching the second floor.

"Basta. May—"

"Then, stay there." I gulped to catch my breath. My eyes quickly found Suadela. She was standing at the end of the corridor.

"Ha?"

"Stay where you are." I repeated, making long strides as I approached her.

"Pupuntahan nalang kita— huh?" Suadela was startled when I grabbed her arm.

"I'm here, what now?" I asked while still holding my phone against my ear. I arched an eyebrow in curiosity.

Suadela looked shocked and confused.

Oh.

"I was at the gym and on my way here when I replied." I explained and ended the call. I casually slid it in my pocket, "Sa office tayo," I turned my back to hide my embarrassment.

How would she react if she finds out that it irks me when other guys approach her.

"Magaling ba talaga 'to, Luan?" si Uno na bahagyang lumingon sa direksyon ko.

I didn't respond to him. This guy has been so annoying for as long as I can remember, but for some reason, he feels unbearable now.

Uno tsked and looked again at Suadela. "Sampol naman dyan, miss. Kahit isang patwerk lang," he kiddingly said, grinning.

This trash. I gritted.

Suadela frowned. She clearly didn't like what she heard.

"Kung ayaw niya. I'll join her. Kahit couple dance nalang kami." Lumingon si Uno kay Suadela, "G?"
