Chapter 6

CHAPTER SIX!!

I wake to the alarm set for 7:00 cause I wanna be on time. I jump in the shower it takes my 7 minutes to shower. I find a curling iron and curl my hair. Which takes
5 minutes. I pick out skinny jeans and a long sleeve black sweater. It was kinda cold in my room that morning. I put the same makeup I used yesterday.

Someone knocks on the door. "Who is it?" I ask. "It's Luke. I asked to escort you to breakfast. If that's ok with you? If not i can go get Jen if you want." He asks. "No it's fine I'll go with you. You can come in." I say. He walks in even more handsome then yesterday If that's even possible.

He didn't do anything to his hair. It's just messy and It looks really good. He wears a light blue T-shirt and jeans. He can look good in anything he wears.

"Are you ready?" He asks politely. "Yes." I reply. We walk down the hallway side by side. "How'd you sleep?" He asked. "Really well actually. Thanks. What about you?" I say. It's true I slept really well no bad dreams or anything. "Okay I guess." He says. "Aw I'm sorry. Why didn't you sleep well?" I ask. Regretting it already. "Just thinking about my brother and sisters. And how they would get by without me." He says really sadly. "I know. I feel the same way for Lexi." I say. We keep walking in silence for awhile. "You look really good today." He says. I'm shocked by what he said cause I know myself that I don't look good. "Thanks. You look good as well. I say I didn't know what else to say. "Thank you!" He replies.

We keep walking till we reach the cafeteria. They had pancakes,waffles,eggs,toast,milk, and orange juice. I take a pancake a waffle and a piece of toast and orange juice.

Luke and I sit together again. This time there were more people next to use so we sat closer together then normal. I take a bite of my pancake. It's really good. "How's your food?" He asks. "Mmm it's good. How about yours?" I ask. "It's good." He says. We sit in silence and eat. Till someone starts to talk. "Please stand." He says. "Hello my name is Liam. I am your teacher. I will teach you all different things then we send you off to start your own families and work." Liam says. What about our old families. I think to myself. Why do they separate us I wanna know why. "Later today at 1:45pm we will train physically." Liam adds. "Till then you guys are free to walk around. Just don't leave the building." Liam says. It was 9:30am right now. "Okay you guys can do stuff." Liam says walking out of the room. Luke and I walk and give our trays in.

"What do you wanna do?" Luke asks. "I'm not sure. what about you?" I ask "Wanna take a walk outside?" Luke asks. "I don't think we are aloud outside." I reply. "So we'll be back in by 1:15." He says. "Sure why not." I say. We walk around until we find the exit doors.

They were no gaurds so we go out. The sun was shinning it was about 65% outside. They wasn't a cloud in the sky. "It's so nice out I love it." Luke says. "Mmm it really is" I reply. We keep walking then we find a flat grass area and just sit. We talk and talk. "What's you favorite color?" Luke asks. "Why do you wanna know that?" I ask. "Well I don't really know much about you. I'd love to learn more about you." He says. "Blue. What about you?" I ask. "Green." He replys. "That cloud looks like a bunny." He says. I can't help but laugh. "What?" He asks. "Nothing I just havn't said clouds look like things for at least 5 years. The last time was with my older brother Justin." I reply. "I though you only had your twin brother Kyle and you little sister Alexis." He says. "Oh right well Justin was three years older then me. He got sent away 3 years ago we just got news he passed away." I say about to cry. " I'm so sorry Liz." He says. "Thank you. I miss him so much everyday." I say. I'm crying a little bit now. "Come here.' Luke says pulling me into a hug. I feel his big strong arms around me. I can't breath I don't why. He's just hugging me cause he feels pity. I sit there for a few minutes resting my head on his shoulder. I look at my watch it's now 1:00pm. I pull my head up. "We should go back in now."I say. I'm sad we have to go but we have to. "Okay let's go." He says pulling me to my feet. As we walk back in he's holding my hand the whole way back in. We go to the cafeitria where we were told to go. And we wait for Liam.
