Elizabeth"s POV:

"I'm sorry Dr. Freeman needs to talk to you." Colton says as we walk towards my room or so I thought he's taking me to Dr. Freeman.

"Of course." I say. I stay quiet I just don't think I can talk to anyone here anymore. We walk down what feels like the creepiest hall ever no windows bright white lights and nothing but white walls. I walk these halls almost everyday to speak to Dr. Freeman but I hate it.

We make it to a small room with a chair and a computer and a few syringes what is this place?

"Thank you Mr, Harper for bringing me my test subject." Marcus says. Wow test subject that's a first.
"You can leave us." He adds.

"What do you want now?" I ask very bitterly.

"I need a few blood sample. Sara!" He calls and one of my nurses walks in.

"Please take a seat." Sara says. I do as I'm told because I want to disobey Marcus right now.
Sara takes one syringe full of blood I flinch I've always hated needles but one vile of blood isn't horrible.
She goes to take another I start to feel very light headed, so I just close my eyes and hope for it to be over soon.

"All done." Sara says about 1-2 minutes later.

"Thanks." I say. Not really sure why I said anything but I did.

"Thank you Sara you can go now and analyze the blood." He says and Sara leaves.

"What are you looking for in my blood?" I ask knowing he wouldn't answer.

"I already told you I think it's the answer to finding the cure to the virus!" He says.

"I don't believe you I've never even heard of a deadly virus!" I reply.

"That's because it hasn't reached your sectors yet and news of the virus only stays in the sectors where people are infected!"

"But that doesn't explain why my blood helps."

"You and your brother are immune and maybe your guys blood together could help make a permanent cure." He says.

"I still don't understand why my parents have to believe I'm dead for this to work!" I say getting up out of the chair and run out of the room, I don't know where anything is but I do know how Colton and I got outside, I make it to the door and run as fast and far as possible without being stopped.
I stop in a cave where I think I should be hidden for now.
