Chapter Nine

CHAPTER NINE!



We follow Liam to the same gym we where in yesterday. "We are going to run 6 laps today" Liam says. We run the six laps. "Drop and do 20 push ups now all of you!" Liam yells. I've never heard him yell. We all do 20 push ups. I can barely do them all I look over at Luke and these are like a piece of cake to him. "20 sit ups now!" Liam says when we were all down 20 push ups. "2 More laps now!" Liam adds to our list of stuff to do. We finish our laps now I'm exhausted "Workout for an hour then go back to the cafeteria." Liam says leaving. I go on the treadmill again because I still have no idea how anything works in here. I look over at Luke who is lifting like 50lbs weights in both hands. I don't know how he still has energy to do that much working out. I set the treadmill fasting I almost fall off starring at Luke. I look at the treadmill it tells the time it is 2:45pm we were doing different work outs Liam instructed us to do. Maddie comes over and starts using the treadmill next to mine.



"Hey Liz! How is it going?" She asks. "Um I'm a little tried. What about you?" I ask.

"Same it's been awhile since I've worked out you know."



"Yeah I know what you mean. How long have you known Eddie?" I ask. "We came from the same part of the land. So we were in the same school and grade. A few years now." She says. "Nice I had a friend like that he's name was Travis. Sadly we weren't on the same truck." I say it makes me sad to think about Travis I miss him so much. "Awe that sucks a lot. I don't know what I would've done if Eddie wasn't on the same truck as me." She says. "Are you and Eddie like dating?" I ask I don't know why really it's none of my business. "Yeah kind of I guess I mean he kissed me before but we don't really call each other girlfriend and boyfriend." She says. "Want to know a secret?" I ask. "Yeah sure." She says slowing down her treadmill. "I've never dated anyone." I say. "Really you aren't dating that really handsome guy Luke?" She asks. I'm shocked I didn't think she'd ask that. "No I just met him the day we got here." I say. "Oh sorry I've always seen you hanging out with him. I just thought you guys we more then just friends my bad." She says. It is now 3:30 exactly an hour since Liam left. So we all walk back to cafeteria I'm glad there are others walking there because other ways I'd get lost going back to the cafeteria.





"Welcome back!" Liam says. "You will be going with your leaders that got you off the truck and showed you around." He says. I look around I see Levi and Jen. I go over to Jen because I know I'm supposed to see here and follow her wherever they are taking us next. "Hello Elizabeth It's been awhile how are you?" She says. It's only been like a day. I think to myself. "I'm good met a few new people. What about you?" I ask because it's the polite thing to do. "I'm good thank you for asking." She says. She is very cheerful today. "You can go back to your room to sleep." She says "ok" I reply. I walk to my room so tired out!
