Chapter 7

Zayn‘s POV;

The next day when I woke up I felt myself smiling, guess I had a pretty good dream, though I couldn’t remember it at all. I looked over to Anna’s room and noticed she was already out of bed and not in her room anymore, guess she already went downstairs to get breakfast. I did the same and threw on some sweats and went downstairs to get breakfast. ‘Morning’, I said while walking into the kitchen. Mom was cleaning up after my younger sisters and dad was reading the news paper. ‘What you wanna have sweety?’ mom asked. ‘I’ll just get some cereal myself mom, thanks.’ And she nodded giving me a smile and continued doing the dishes. One of the first things I’d get her when I’d make it was a dishwasher. I grabbed a bowl, put some milk in it and then cereal and I sat down across dad and started eating. ‘Seriously? Did you really just wake up? Damn you’re lazy!’ I heard someone say and I looked up seeing Anna standing in the doorway with her ‘I love teasing Zayn’ smile. ‘Morning to you too love’ I said and stuck my tongue out to her. Anna walked over to my mom and started helping her with the dishes as I finished my breakfast. ‘So, your dad was pretty mad last night, are you ok?’ Mom asked Anna and she shrugged. ‘Yeah, I’m fine, nothing out of the ordinary there. Just, one more summer and I can finally leave him behind’ and mom nodded agreeing with her. My parents knew all about Anna’s situation at home since Anna spend a lot of time here due to that and we had many conversations about it with my parents, they were kinda her 2nd pair. ‘So, you excited for graduation tonight?’ mom asked us and we both nodded. ‘Extremely excited, one step closer to freedom!’ Anna danced around raising her arms and I just started laughing, she could be so goofy, I loved it.
