Chapter 10

Zayn‘s POV;

‘Dad, drop that phone now or you’re staying home!’ Anna yelled and I couldn’t bother to not even try not to laugh about it. ‘You look absolutely amazing sweety’ mom said to her and I nodded. ‘Who knew you could clean up this nicely?’ I said to her teasingly and she just stuck out her tongue, we always had a way of teasing eachother without getting the other mad. ‘Ok, I’m done, we can go now’ Anna dad said as he walked over to the rest of us. ‘Give me the phone’, Anna said helding her hand up and her dad looked annoyed but gave it to her anyways, he knew she hated it when he got disturbed at moments like these. Anna gave it to her mom to put in her purse and we all got into the car. My family had one of those mini vans since we were with 6 people. I sat across from Anna and I honestly couldn’t keep my eyes of her while she was talking with our moms. ‘Could it be that my dad was right about us ending up together?’ As I thought of it I started smiling but quickly I tried to dismiss the thought. ‘No, we’re just good friends, we’ve always been, I can’t ruin that by thinking we’d end up together.’ ‘We’re here,’ my dad said as we pulled up to the school. There was a red carpet, loads of balloons and cameras, graduation always got a lot of attention around here. Our dads stepped out of the car and opened the door and helped our moms out, I got out and helped Anna. I somewhat bowed to her, reached out my hand for her to grab and said ‘My lady’. ‘Zayn, don’t be so stupid’ Anna laughed at me and she punched my arm. ‘Ok, ok, I’ll behave, my lady’, I couldn’t resist saying it sarcasticly again and she just smiled. I put out my arm and she put hers in mine and we walked in. As we walked the carpet I noticed all 4 of our parents looking at us the same way my dad always did, ‘Could it really be true?’ I thought again.
