Chapter 18

Zayn’s POV;

This house was absolutely amazing! To be honest, when Anna’s dad said ‘loft’ I imagined something completely else, this wasn’t a loft, this was a house! You would’nt expect a house like this in the middle of London, so close to the campus. We all stood in front of the house looking at it. It was a white cube shaped house with a lot of glass and by the looks of it high cealings which is why I think Thom called it a loft. At the left you could walk right into the park and at the right of the house was a parking spot with over it a part of the house. ‘Should we look inside?’ Thom said and we all nodded and Anna almost ran towards the front door. Thom got a key out of his pocket and opened the door and Anna immedeatly walked in and by the looks of it was amazed because she looked up and her mouth was slightly open. As I walked in behind her and my parents I saw why she reacted like that. The house was amazingly light / bright and there was a big open space and indeed heigh ceilings. When you looked out you didn’t see the other houses in the street while they were pretty close because of the trees in front of it, it was like the outside came in. ‘Go, look around you 2!’ our parents encisted and so me & Anna started walking around the house. When you came in you walked right towards a pair of stairs and under it was the kitchen with a bar. If you walked a little more to the left there was the living room, a bit higher then the kitchen. The stairs led to a walkway over the kitchen which had to 2 bedrooms with a shared walk in closet in the middle of it. In front of the closet was the bathroom. When you walked up the stairs and took a right you walked into the room above the parking place and it was a study which we could also use for our music. Behind it was a balcony that looked over the park. ‘This place is insane!’ I said to Anna as we looked out the window of our possible music room. ‘I know right? We can never afford this place!’ ‘I know…’ I answerred with some disappointment in my voice. ‘It would be totally awesome though!’ I said to her and she gave a smile. ‘It totally would.’ As we walked back downstairs our parents were in the kitchen sitting at the bar. ‘So, do you guys like it?’ Thom asked and we both nodded. ‘It is totally amazing dad! But, isn’t it to expensive?’ ‘Well sweety, let me tell you, it isn’t.’ And mine and Anna’s mouths apparently dropped because all our parents started laughing. ‘Thom has been so kind to buy this place for you guys.’ My dad started. ‘Yes, we want you to be near the campus in a good neighbourhood’ mom added and they all nodded. ‘I’ve gotten a bonus from work and I wanted to spend it on something usefull and this is. You’ll have an amazing place in a good neighboorhood near campus.’ ‘But dad…’ Anna started but he interrupted her before she could finish. ‘’No buts Anna, I’ve already bought the place, it’s yours.’ And she just stood there, stumped.
