(Lexy's POV)
"I wonder what happen with Gumball?" I spoke as I glance over at my brother who merely shrugs.
I began to think of what he did, he seem fine when we were going to school. Hell he looked fine when we woke up last night. I notice that both people next to me were barely listening to me Darwin kept glancing over to Rachel's locker expecting her to be there and Carrie has been silent ever since Gumball left.
Darwin perks up and looks at us. "Sorry guys I got to get going for a second." I look seeing Darwin rush over to Rachel who is talking to Molly and Teri but stops when seeing Darwin run over. I couldn't hear what they were talking about but I saw Rachel glare at him anger obviously in her face and then after Darwin kept talking I saw forgiveness and love show in her face.
Those two are meant for each other. I could feel a smile spread across my face seeing those two talk.
"Lexy am I a terrible person." Carrie spoke behind me making me jump slightly. I look over at her to see if she was joking but I stopped when I saw that Carrie actually at the moment is fighting off tears but failing.
"Car… Carrie what's wrong?" I go to her to console her. "Carrie talk to…" I felt something slam against my stomach and sent me flying as my back slam against the locker as pain shot through my body as a gasp escape my lips. I fell down to my knee as I gasp for air trying to refill my lungs that lost all the air in them in one hit.
I heard the ground shake as I look up and stare at a one story lizard glaring down at me.
"Tina what the hell!" I heard Carrie scream as I look over to see her and Darwin run over to the lizard but Tina little sidekick Jamie stood in front of them. I notice Carrie actually run into Jamie making her stumble back. I saw the very confuse look spread across Carrie face as she look down at herself.
However me watching her was interrupted by Tina picking me up with her mouth not hard enough to remove or do any damage to my foot but enough to make it hurt as she tosses me across the hall. I landed on the tiles as my shoulder screams in agony as I grip it groaning in pain.
I look over down the hall and saw Tina let out a terrible laugh obviously enjoying being the dominate predator that she is. To the side of her I see Jamie is standing next to Tobias and this barracuda guy I didn't know. I didn't see Carrie or Darwin anywhere. I slowly got back up glaring at the Lizard. She has been attacking me for no reason for the past few days and I'm sick and tired of her doing this. In fact this entire week has been nothing but pain for everyone. I clench my eyes together as I open them up again as I get into a fighting stance.
(Carrie's POV)
"Hey watch it freak!" Jamie hiss at me as she gave me a quick shove back making me fall but Darwin was able to catch me. I stared at Jamie shock as she just seems a bit annoyed by me.
Only moments ago I attempted to phase through her but nothing. How is it even possible I could phase whenever I wanted too. I struggle getting up as I shut my eyes as I try with all my might to become intangible. The power coming off to do such a small act actually was draining as though my body didn't have enough to give just to phase.
My head began to pound as I felt my arm tremble slightly as I kept trying to phase.
"Carrie are you ok?" I snapped out of my struggle and glance over at Darwin.
"Yes I'm fine Darwin… come on we must go and get Gumball… maybe he can talk some sense into these two." I look over at Tina seeing her stare down Lexy as she held her ground. If I knew the Wattersons as well as I think I do then she could handle herself for a few minutes. "Where should we check first anyways?" I speak glancing over at Darwin.
