Chapter 18 ~ How do you feel

I'm back! I have no reason why I've been gone for so long this other than I kind of forgot about but hopefully this time i can actually get back into it properly.

⭐Marinette⭐

I was still in so much shock about these photos. Not to mention someone was able to get a clear picture of my balcony, so I guess I can't go up there in my pyjamas anymore. Most of the violation I had felt had been pushed away due to the amount of shock I was in.

I continued to go through all different media platforms and sure enough every single top trending story was Chat Noir and I being a couple. I smiled at the computer, we did kind of look cute together and I loved the way he looks at me.

⭐Adrien⭐

"Shit Plagg! What am I going to do?! The whole world thinks Marinette's my girlfriend." I was completely stressed out.

"I honestly don't see the problem plus it also doesn't really concern me, so I don't really care" he said then continued stuffing his mouth with cheese.

"Helpful as ever" I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes.

"Just go see her if it's stressing you out this much" Plagg said fed up with the conversation.

⭐Marinette⭐

I was about to head to bed when I heard a tap at my window, and of course it was the one and only Chat Noir. I opened the window, grabbed him by the collar and quickly pulled him into my room.

"Oh shit, I'm sorry" I apologise as he landed on the floor on his back.

"It's ok" he responded, "Why so aggressive though?" he asked as he stood up.

"I just don't want any more rumours going around about us together because I'm trying to shut them down. I just don't really want any attention either." I explained a little frustrated. He looked quite upset as I said that, I wasn't frustrated with him though just at the situation, "I am glad you came over though. I was actually kind of hoping you'd come around." I smiled and his face lit up, "What made you decide to come back around?" I asked.

"I just wanted to check in on you and see how you were feeling about the rumours and stuff" he replied nervously.

"Well of course I would rather not have any rumours made about me but out of any rumours that could've happened this is probably best case scenario" I said trying to help calm his nerves.

"Ok, that's good then." He smiled "But how are you going with what happened earlier?" he asked worried.

"I-I'm ok" I stuttered.

⭐Chat Noir⭐

I could tell she was definitely not ok.

"Marinette you can talk to me" I reassured her.

She went to say something but then just burst into tears. So, I just pulled her in close and held her tight and just let her talk whenever she felt ready.

"I'm just so over it Chat. Why can't I just be a normal girl with a normal life. Why do all these shitty things have to happen to me. It's just all too much every second of everyday something just goes to complete shit. I just don't know how much more of it I can take." She said as she cried in my arms.

I put my hand under her chin and gently lifted he head up so that her eyes met mine. I paused for a moment as I looked into her eyes, they were, no are the most beautiful eyes I'd ever seen. They were the most gorgeous blue, like a tropical ocean but a tiny bit darker, they were just perfect, she was perfect.

My eyes wandered down to her lips for a split second before I quickly snapped out of it and they quickly returned to her eyes.

"Marinette you are the bravest person I have ever met, and despite all these shitty things that go on in your life you still somehow manage to be the most sweet and kind human being ever and that requires so much more strength and bravery than I think you know, and that's how I know that you're going to get through whatever life throws at you." I say trying to reassure as best I can.

She gave me a grateful yet sad smile as she looked back down into her lap.

I gently lifted her chin up once more, "And I am always here for you no matter what and I will help you through anything you need and I will give you all my strength if you need it. Ok?" I gave her a gentle smile. I cared for her more than her or I realised.

"Thank you Chat." She spoke softly while staring up at me with grateful eyes.

And then she kissed me not on the cheek this time but on the lips. I was completely stunned but I liked it.

She quickly pulled away, "I-I'm sorry, please forget that ever happened", she looked really embarrassed.

"O-ok" I stuttered "But you don't need to apologies" I tried to reassure her. The thing is though I didn't want to forget it. I liked it, a lot but I would of course I would respect her wishes.

⭐Marinette⭐

I was absolutely mortified. I couldn't believe I just did that.

"I think I should go to bed now though." I yawned loudly.

"Ok, no worries." He said as he got up to leave.

"Wait-" I said as I grabbed his hand "-do you think you could stay with me for a bit while I go to sleep. I don't think I could fall asleep with out some company tonight." I said shyly. I didn't want to make it any weirder but I just knew I couldn't fall asleep if I was by myself.

"Of course. Anything for you M'lady." He smiled and then bent down and kissed my hand and I smiled back.

We made our way up to my bed. I lay down and he sat next to me. I closed my eyes to sleep but I just kept tossing and turning. Eventually without a word Chat Noir slid down so that he was lying next to me and pulled me close to him so that I was lying half on him and half on the bed. It felt so natural, as if this was how everything was supposed to be. As soon as I was lying with him in his arms everything in my mind went away and I felt peaceful. It didn't take me long after that to fall asleep, I don't think I had slept that well in a good long while.

⌛⌛⌛

It was now 11am and Alya came through the trapdoor essentially shouting, "Rise and shine sleepy head.

I was so startled that I jolted up so that I was now sitting on my bed looking down at her.

"Couldn't you have called before bursting in here" I said groggily while chuckling a little.

"Girl, check your phone, I did about 20 times." She laughed

"Oh shit." I then paused, "Omg I forgot I left it down there so I didn't hear it I'm so sorry"

"Don't worry girl, its all good" she chuckled

All of a sudden I heard a faint groan from behind me, "Oh shit" I whispered to myself. Chat Noir was still there.

"What was that noise?"Alya asked, "It sounded like a guy." she stated, "Marinette Dupain-Cheng dohave a boy in your bed?" she laughed as she made her way to my bed.
