11.) Stupid Stairs

I love Soulmate AUs! I was in a happy mood searching stuff up on Tumblr! First I want to say thanks to whoever on Tumblr created this soulmate Au idea and to the other ones I found on Tumblr that I'm going to use later on.

This Soulmate AU is you accidentally fell down the stairs and broke a leg, oh, and fate must love you because it seems your soulmate also broke the other leg (or something else) and whatever happens to the other, you feel it too (no actual injury but you feel the same amount of pain) so now you're in the hospital and you happen to meet your soulmate in the waiting area.

Nobody's POV

Today was just not Thomas's day.

First he wakes up late for school and rushed quickly to get ready.

Secondly maybe he rushed too quickly.

He tried running downstairs while putting on his shoes but him being extremely clumsily, he missed a step and fell down the stairs.

It's really surprising that he is the captain of track team since his sense of gravity isn't all that perfect.

His foot got caught in one of the steep steps and he twisted his leg, hearing a painful POP.

Ungracefully, He finally hits the floor where the searing pain from his left leg is the only thing he can feel.

Fortunately his mom hadn't left for work yet and rushed into hallway where she saw Thomas groaning in pain.

She carefully helped him out the house and into the car and speed to the hospital.

They make it to the waiting room with Thomas hopping on his good leg.

Thomas's mom sets him down gently in a chair and goes back to the Nurse's desk to tell her what happen and sign some paper.

Thomas tries to not think about his left leg too much and focuses on looking around the white sterile room.

What captures his attention is the beautiful blonde boy sitting across from him who is already staring at him.

He feels a shock of electricity looking into the most prettiest brown eyes he's ever seen.

He's pulled out of his trance when the angel opens his mouth.

"Rough day?" The beautiful angel asks with the most sexiest British accent.

Thomas's blushes because of his thoughts and finally says "I guess you could say that."

The beautiful boy stands up and Thomas is filled with disappointment that he is already leaving before they could talk but he pushes that thought away.

Why should he care anyways?

Instead of leaving the angel limps to the seat next to Thomas and sits.

The limping should be a dead give away but of course Thomas is oblivious so the only thing he does is blush even more.

The blonde boy who has adorable freckles that Thomas can see now that he is close takes a painful sigh.

"Are you ok? Are you in pain?" Thomas can't help but ask and forgets about his own pain.

"yeah I'm fine." The un-named boys says while giving Thomas a breathtaking smile that makes Thomas's heart stop for a second.

Thomas smiles back making the blonde boy blush.

Thomas tries to shift in his chair but hits his left leg causing him to hiss in pain reminding him of the throbbing pain in his leg.

At the same time the beautiful blonde hisses,grabbing his left leg.

 "Did you hurt your left leg too?" Thomas asks through his teeth.

The other boy groans and says "No."

Thomas is confused but then a sudden thought hits him.

The electricity he felt, the limp, the pain in the other boy's left leg are all dead give aways.

He can't be, Can he?

So Thomas decides to try out his theory by moving his left leg to the side to see if it will cause a reaction to the boy.

"Ok this might sound weird but um I want to try something." Thomas says to the other boy confusing him but he shakes his head okay anyways.

Clutching his teeth, he shifts his leg slowly and gets the reaction that answers his theory.

This beautiful blonde boy is his soulmate.

"I can't believe it" The other boy says in shock while staring at Thomas's leg.

"You're.. you're my..."

"Yeah." Thomas says cutting off the other boy afraid of what his reaction real be if he looks at him.

It's quiet for a second before the un-name blonde starts chuckling making Thomas feel warm all over.

"So i guess I have you to thank for the trip to the hospital then" The angel says that shocks Thomas because why isn't he disgusted?

"What do you mean" Thomas asks cutely confused

The other boy chuckles and says "I came to the hospital because my left leg was causing me extreme pain and I guess I know why now."

He laughs and it's so contagious that it makes Thomas join in.

When they finally stop to take a breath from their laughing fest Newt asks the question that Thomas wished he didn't.

'How did you hurt you leg?"

Thomas looks down embarrassed and says quietly "I fell down the stairs".

Instead of laughing at him like Thomas thought he was going to do, he does the opposite.

"Stupid stairs, Am I right?" He says smiling gently at Thomas

"Yep! Stupid stairs" Thomas says chuckling.

"So I guess it was the stupid stairs I have to thank for that gave me all the pain growing up?" Newt asks laughing.

"Nope. It was also the walls" Thomas says back trying to say it serious but ends up laughing with Newt.

"I'm Newt" The beautiful blonde boy says offering his hand.

"I'm Thomas" Thomas says taking Newt's hand to shake.

There's a bright light and a shock runs through their bodies as they touch hands.

If that isn't a conformation that they're soulmates then I don't know what is!

They smile at each other and intertwine their hands together.

So maybe today was Thomas's day after all.
