I woke up to bright sunlight shining on me. My head was splitting and I don't remember ever feeling more hung over. I groaned as I tried to open my eyes. I looked around me, trying to remember where the fuck I was and what had happened the night before. I saw Mick lying naked beside me, fast asleep, and my headache eased a little. Our clothes and the bedsheets were scattered all over the floor. It wouldn't matter how hung over I was, it was pretty obvious what had happened. I kissed Mick's neck and ran my fingers down his inner thigh. He looked shattered, I didn't want to wake him up. I got up and put the bed sheets in the corner, putting my bra and pants on.
"How'd we manage to spread our clothes round the whole room?" I muttered to myself, picking up Mick's belt which was lying next to the door. Then I noticed a piece of paper had been slid under the door. I picked it up, trying to focus on the blurry letters.
April,
Come meet us at the bar so we can talk about what I mentioned last night
(If you guys are still alive)
JoeI sighed and put the note on the bedside table. Of course I wanted to make plans with them, but right now I just wanted to spend more time with Mick. We can go later, I think to myself, making my way back to the bed and trying to make room for myself. Mick had sprawled himself everywhere and was practically taking up the whole bed.
"Fuckin move!" I grunted as I shoved him over to one side. He didn't even flinch. He must be even more hung over than me. I flopped down next to him and kissed his arm gently, not being able to keep my hands off him for a second. He moaned quietly and turned away from me, curling up in a ball.
"Mick, get up, we got stuff we need to talk about," I barked. After a few seconds he turned onto his back and stretched. I sat up and pulled on his arm, trying to get him to sit upright. His stomach moved up and down steadily; he was still fast asleep. I leaned forward and kissed his chest. I don't want to have to do this, I thought to myself, giving him a little nip with my sharp teeth. He sprung forwards and looked around, confused. I knew that would wake him up, that bite was gonna leave a mark. He was panting and looked exhausted and confused. I smiled triumphantly.
"Joe wants to meet us at the bar, we need to get ready."
"Why should I take orders from the person who just tried to eat me?" he mumbled, leaning his head on my shoulder.
'It's exciting though. I'm going to the other Scotland gigs with you guys!"
I didn't get much of a reaction, but he moved forward and tried to stand up. I took his hand and heaved him off the bed, but he just flopped over into my arms.
"C'mon, go take a shower and get dressed, we gotta go," I said, taking his hand and leading him over to the bathroom. A few minutes later I heard running water and his voice in the background. Was he singing? I went over to the door and pressed my head against it, trying to hear him, but the water drowned his voice out.
