I woke to hear Mick's voice softly next to my ear. I didn't know what he was saying and I didn't want to wake up yet, so I just pretended I couldn't hear him. We were on the train to Glasgow. The next gig was in two days so we had time to have fun. Topper was sitting opposite Mick and I, with Joe and Paul sitting behind us (which proved to be really annoying as they wouldn't stop poking me through the gap in the seat).

"April," Mick whispered again. I turned away from him and leaned my head against the window.

"What?" I tried to sound angry but I couldn't get annoyed at him.

"We got to get off in a sec," he said, pulling the end of my hair.

We got off and wandered around until we found the hotel. We stopped at a few shops before, and Mick gave me some money so I could buy myself something. I wanted to buy something special, so I took ages trying to find something I really wanted. I found a Clash t shirt in one of the cheap corner shops and knew I had to have it. I put it on over my vest as soon as we got out of the shop, but it didn't stay on long; chilling in a hotel bed was that bit more fun with no clothes on.
