Shift's heart immediately sunk.

You'd think he'd get mad, with that hulk temper sort of thing he has going, but no.

(And then a sad song pops on)

Shift was frozen in his seat for the longest time, before standing to his feet, chewing his lip.

"E-..excuse me..." he mumbled, tears in his eyes, before he dragged himself to his room, locking himself alone.
